One of our friends on this board said George would be Little George in this match. Granted the gap in talent was significant but Little George had no problem chopping down the gigantic Gerry Cooney.

Oh dear, you really are a sensitive little flower.
However let's get back to your complete lack of logic. As I had the temerity to suggest that a truly
formidable fighter like Vitali Klitschko could defeat George Foreman ( who is indeed a fighter for whom
I have the highest respect ) according to you this is an act of ''hatred'' ? Gimme strength !
Yes perhaps it is time to end this '' debate ''.

Are we counting old and shot versions of boxers then? I note that Briggs has the W over Foreman and Vitali absolutely wrecked Briggs ;)

Lewis was way better than Foreman.

Foreman was puny in comparison to Vitali and nowhere near as skilled or smart.
Vitali bounces his head like a bowling ball.

You really are a strawmaning little weasel. The only thing I ever pulled you on was your agreement that Vitali beat better offensive guys than foreman. The post are still there and prove your snivelling dishonesty, so spread your wings pigeon and fly away. I'm sure be back next week with a different account :eaea:

Lewis is a million times more skilled than Foreman, and even at that age, Lewis was still a lot faster.

I don't agree. He moved like a mummy. Foreman even at his worst against young closed the gap enough to make jimmy constantly clinch

I think we both know Briggs clearly lost that Foreman fight, my friend.

Michael Spinks had no problems with a better version of Cooney almost 3 years before. Cooney apparently had out of the ring problems that diminished him, he wasn't the same fighter who fought Larry Holmes when he fought Spinks and he was less when he fought Foreman. Foreman's team did the research, they knew who was not training, who had substance abuse problems, who would take a fight for a pay check, etc., they looked for them.

Vitali staggers Foreman more than once along the way, but ends up with a super ugly cut. He gets tagged with some earth-shaking blows while the cut gets worse and worse, and the doctor stops it in the 6th round (Foreman is looking a bit taxed himself at the time).

Vitali isn't quite as demonstrably upset at the stoppage as the one by Lewis, as he's still a bit dazed from the Foreman shots landed.

Vitali is ahead on all the cards.
