Really, you don't think Roy could run around evading harm for even three minutes?

So tough to say but if I had to garner a guess. If they fought 100 times Lewis probably KOs him about 400 times

A step too far for Mr Unstoppable.

Lewis is just too big, too skilled and hits too hard with all of the physical advantages to stop Jones in about 6 rounds.

I think Jones was great, just not great enough to overcome all of the advantages Lewis would have had over him.

Hey bruv, I lived thru the trauma of Tarver II, and the subsequent humiliations, don't make me relive them.

If I recall then, after beating Ruiz, RJJ said something like he'd need 60-100 mill to face LL.

Boxing would get banned after a Lewis uppercut detaches Roy's head and bounces it off the ceiling.

Roy did extremely well to fight as high as heavy and beat a good HW like Ruiz, but Jones was in no form a genuine HW.

Ruiz had a style that was tailor made for RJJ to beat. Lewis does not, not even close. Only worse matchup for RJJ at the time was Corrie Sanders who his management apparently signed for him to face. Jones fortunately realised that they were on crack and nixed the bout.

Dear god after seeing what Tarver's left hand did to Jones, can you imagine Sanders hitting him with that straight left ? RJJ is one of my favourite fighters but that would be painful to watch, RJJ should of just retired after beating Ruiz but like so many fighters he carried on too long. That's why i admire Lewis for knowing that he knew his time was up and wisely retired before he tainted his legacy.

He would of been destroyed, even with Lennox in the final stages of his career he still had the advantages to put RJJ away.

If RJJ had retired after Ruiz he'd have enjoyed a mythical reputation today. He's have been able to have exhibition matches like Floyd against basically any big name chump and cashed in a fortune. That said one has to tip a hat to RJJ who would never have been content to retire on that note ... boxing in his blood I guess.
