Looked like Balogun could've beat the count but it was a well timed flush right hand and we know Gassiev's power is different. Balogun looked very much like the durable type to me with that big head and short neck of his, but Gassiev folded him with that shot which was the first meaningful shot he threw.

I think he will really damage old Chisora, he barely speaks right now.

I want someone young and strong, maybe Bakole ?

Poor old Lou. He talked all that smack about how dangerous Balogun was and Gassiev having never fought a "real" HW, and...

There goes the current ace of his roster, probably. Who else is even signed to DBE that's relevant? I guess Carlos Góngora?

How ghoulish, he still has Patrick Day listed...who passed away four years ago.

Devin Haney, too, despite just co-promoting him twice...against his own fighter, GKJ. Cringe.

It is a nice KO and all but he looked stodgy and slow to me, still neat but...I dunno, what is it, 60, 70 months since his last world-level victory? Could be coasting in to land.

In fairness he isn't yet thirty. In fact, he could reasonably squeeze in two more ring appearances to whip himself in shape ahead of his thirtieth birthday. A turnaround or even return to form isn't beyond question.

With the intercontinental belt will come a ranking and that'll maybe leave the door ajar to face top 15ish guys, hopefully sooner than later.

Definitely not but it's not what I'm predicting at this time. I think he's looking for the last payday and wants to get to it via the path of least resistance.

Yeah - don't fall for that, guys. According to our own insider @PinoyProdigy, the BoxRec editors sometimes "hide" cards from public view for a variety of reasons (usually at the promoter's request...although why promoters would ask that is above my paygrade)

Disappearing off BoxRec means nothing by itself, if there's been no news of a cancelation otherwise. :nono:
