I thought that, too, and am still open to the thought, but.. he was shaking that right hand before that. He was making that same maneuver before the KO sequence... But still...

 

Gassiev got that power but it did look a bit choregraphed to me.

 

You hit it on the head...he did it beforehand.

I don't think that was evidence of it being fixed, I think it was the evidence of some pain in the arm. Hopefully not another injury.

 

It clearly was not fixed for a couple of reasons:

1. Murat did that twitch thing with the arm prior to the end. There was something going on with that arm.

2. Its not like his promotional team are wealthy and this was a big fight. What were they going to pay Balugon, who was on a kind of roll coming in, to lay down in a nothing fight when winning would have catapulted him?

I am hoping that I am wrong here, but it looked to me like if might be another injury he was shaking off.

Then Drozd yaps about how Балогун used to be an American Football player and so on. (Good to see Drozd doing well, he is a good dude)

Dodgy ending

 

I didn't catch the complete fight, only the posted clip here and it doesn't look on the level but with catchwtboxing mentioning he had been doing it previously, hopefully it was all on the level. It also didn't look good when Balogun got up straight after 10, quickly moved over and hugged Murat with a smile on his face. Hopefully Gassiev gets back in again quick smart.

 

so much for NFL players being super athletes who would dominate the sport if they tried

 

It weren’t a dodgy ending no one willingly gets hit by a right hand from gassiev, even at 1/4 power, also he, balogun was going left all night.
