I voted "major damage," but it depends what you mean. He has not done enough to be more than a Riddick Bowe level third-tier great as it is. If he beats Usyk and goes on to have another few goods ones, he is moving into top ten territory. If he loses to Usyk, he will always be struck in 15-25, regardless of what happens next.

Massive damage. He's a great SHW with great skills for a guy his size but his resume isn't that great. If Usyk beats him which I think he will, it just proves Fury was overrated all along, and that Usyk truly is a generational talent.

No damage Usyk hits like a fairy

Fury loses more than Usyk though. Usyk losing has little effect.

From how he has been hyped it would probably do massive damage. People are putting him in top 10 lists. So to go from top 10 to top 30 is pretty big tumble. His resume is light he beat Wlad. Age 39. Very good win. In a very bad fight. then he has two wins and a draw against Wilder. I don’t rate Wilder high at all. I think Wilder was steered away from threats and was manufactured. But he can punch. So I say beating him 3 times is the equivalent of beating maybe a Earnie Shavers 3x in the 70s or a Ron Lyle type. Definitely a top 4-5 contender. I find Chisora to be nothing more than a gatekeeper type like a George Chuvalo. I do think Cunningham is underrated but at cruiser. He didn’t do much at heavy. All in all Fury’s resume is really lucky to be top 25 in my book. He’s around where Bowe is now for me. If he loses he won’t slide much in my list. Probably still put him over Bowe. But he’ll be stuck there. If he wins he’s in top 20 for me somewhere

Fury & Usyk at their best can beat anyone in history of their respective prime weight classes.

I see no hype on these men. they earned their stripes the real way and historically have not had the success financially like others have had because casuals don't recognize the cream of the crop they recognize the lab grown garbage.

Bout now likely delayed again is good because many people will want to claim Fury has ducked which he hasn't so when it does come around there will be lots of people eating their words yet again. If they stay radio for another 7-14 days then it's likely they have took a later summer date.

Disastrous. If he beats Usyk and retires, he's the best of his generation and probably a great heavyweight. Certainly the generational number one post-Wladimir.

If he's beaten by Usyk and retires, he becomes the number two of his generation and steps into the shadow of a much smaller man. Cold in there.

He'd go from being the number 1 hw to number 2 in most people's eyes.

Usyk's shadow would cover Tyson's little toe at best

    Usyk is an amazing talent.
Won’t be much of a knock on Fury other then. His ego.
There is no shame in getting your ass beat by Usyk - (that is the main point here.)

This is why he is ducking him as well. Fury is affraid since he knows there is a good chance it will turn out like this.
He rather keep the charade going.

If he didnt think like that he would man up and fight him already

Depends on how he loses. If he gets the jeff lacy threatment it will be pretty bad.

Hugely damaging. There are still people who believe he's not one of the greatest and this would be the stick he would always be beaten down with should anyone argue otherwise.

I don't believe that at all of course. But if he was to lose to Usyk then he could kiss goodbye to being considered anywhere near the top 10 heavyweights of all time.

He won't though, I think he'll win fairly comfortably, that is my humble opinion
