Tim at his very best, up against Fury. This is an extremely hard fight for TF, and one im not confident in him winning.
Very thought provoking one,Fergy. The key is how often Tim can get through Tyson's reach and avoid his inevitable grappling tactics to break the Witherspoon rhythm. If Tim manges this then he outpoints Fury on workrate and his right hands would give Fury food for thought.
Yes I think so as I said Fury is untested against real skillful Heavyweights apart from an old Wladimir. Although depending on how Fury does against Usyk it could alter my opinion. That's if it even takes place of course, Fury could fight McDermott 3 times, Chisora 4 times, and Wilder 5th time who knows with him.
I can really see Tim, maybe of the Holmes fight, getting this, mate. What a fighter he was in his prime.
Bad camp or any kind of lazy approach to the fight and it can spirale out of Fury's control. Witherspoon was a very technical fighter with huge expertise and knowledge. Being a less orthodox pugilist and having dynamite of an overhand right to punish lazy stiff arming or jabs would make for an interesting asset as well. Size disparity combined with ref content with allowing veteran tactics and excessive holding could be detrimental for Tim tho. Then again, seeing how he seems to had studies the ancient tomes, rougher side of inside fighting should be of no concern to him.
Tim lands a straight right to Furys chin several times and, as usual, Fury goes down but not out. TW by UD. The three 10-7 knockdown rounds are the difference.
I do rate Fury. Arguably the second best all time Britsh heavyweight and one of the three best heavies since Lennox' retirement in my opinion. He needs some more signature wins before he can be called an all time great though.
