I see Foreman winning this one via UD or late TKO.

I noticed most of those mentioning 'Little George's' size disadvantage keep neglecting to mention that he punched twice as freakin' hard as the stiff, arm-punching giant.

And going from memory, since I haven't watched the fight for some time, but wasn't that a single left hook that rocked Young and had him careering all over the ring? Young had excellent defense and very solid chops - but a single punch from Foreman breached Young's defense and, on contact, shook him to his toe tips. Foreman might've been impaired, but he was still a dangerous beast.

Vitali wins by late stoppage against first career George. 2nd career George gets out boxed to a UD. George would have his moments in both fights though. But not enough to stop Vitali.

Jimmy Young forgot more about boxing than Vitali will ever know. Young would beat both Klitschkos.

'73 Foreman would've finished the job imo (I seriously doubt it would've went to round 7 tbh though I'd be rooting for Young to prove me wrong).

Foreman was never the same after the first loss. Nearly incurring a second loss to Lyle couldn't have helped his confidence either.

I know people like to accuse Foreman of making excuses but he had absolutely none for this loss, even though he had ample reason. As his manager stated, it was indeed VERY hot in the arena that night. The overhead lights were said to have "created more heat ringside than in any recent bout except for the Ali-Joe Bugner title match in Kaula Lumpur (which was two years prior) that was seared by the tropical sun" which led him to suffer a heat stroke. https://www.newspapers.com/clip/109634427/lincoln-journal-star/

His manager having him dehydrated before the bout couldn't have helped and very likely contributed to his hospitalization. I'll concede this was absolutely his and his manager's fault, for doing such a thing when they knew the bout was going to be in a very hot environment. I don't know what they were thinking.

Pre Zaire Foreman should win if he uses his jab and doesn't become eager for the KO. His body shots would be a serious problem and I think he's one of the few who could break Vitali down so long as he doesn't gas. Slight edge to Foreman to win by mid rounds TKO, but if he becomes reckless Vitali takes over.

Post Zaire Foreman, his confidence took a huge hit, he went through many iffy style changes, and he was often sloppy. He has a punchers chance, but a very slim one. Vitali would capitalize on his mistakes and wouldn't give him much time to recover with his high volume style. Vitali wins a clear decision or stops Foreman late.

Peak 90's Foreman from Cooney to Moorer gives Vitali nightmares with his heavy jab and fortress like defense. He might pull it off, but Vitali should be favored due to the reach, hand speed, and overall ability. I would say Vitali wins more often than not, 7 rounds to 5 or so in a very exciting and brutal mid range chess match. Both were extremely durable so I doubt either gets knocked down, let alone, out.

Post Moorer Foreman was very, very slow and very beatable. His power was starting to fizzle and wasn't pulling the trigger as much. Vitali easily wins a wide UD.

Don't hate me but Duran deserves a mention when it comes to having excuses for a loss. Decades later I never heard him say that he had no answers for Leonard in the rematch and leave it at that. No disrespect I love Duran but I gotta b honest.

Tbf to Foreman n Duran, boxers tend to have a lot of pride so it's common to not at least publicly admit they were beaten by the better man that night they clearly loss. Most delusional I can recall is Broner thinking he beat Pacquiao. That was.....something.
