Good old fighting man Fury from a no nonsense fighting family.

Tommy was offered a double or nothing deal and wouldn't sign the contract. Then when he won he's saying the bet should be honoured hahaha

If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, then it's a duck.

Which means Usyk is fine taking 40% if he loses. But up until today, he was stuck to 50:50, no matter the outcome. Those are all, as we call them, "gypsy tricks" from both sides. Plus, will we finally have a proof what one side officially offers to the other, not just some "3rd party" posts/news?

Do we often have the practice of variable amount, depending on the outcome? Usually, fighters secure the money before, so this might look as a cool offer, but is tricky for a reason.

It sounds as though Usyk fully agreed a deal privately with the Saudi's.

Fury asked for too much, so meant the fight couldn't be there. So Fury has already cost Usyk a fortune

I love watching Fury fight, he has given us some great moments and he can also be very funny/entertaining outside of the ring. But this stuff is getting tedious now, I thought he was a real fighting man who would fight anyone born from his mother?

Dubois is mandatory for Usyk and not ready until June apparently. Good old Frank is putting his chess pieces together as two of his guys will be called as mandatories for Usyk within the next three fights. They plan to tick Tyson over as by all accounts Usyk is considering retiring if he became undisputed and does not want to take pointless fights. He would want the Wilder fight if Fury didnt come off but holding 3 belts his mandatories will be called one by one and if he vacates Frank/Fury has two winnable unifications against Dubois and Joyce where he is the A side and believes he comfortably beats both.

This is all just boxing politics. Fury wants maximum money for winnable fights and not happy to budge.

Doesn’t look like it’s happening, unless the date has moved to mid May in Saudi.

If it looks like a duck, moves like a duck it’s a ….

Fury ducking Usyk..... I'm shocked! Shocked I tell you! ....well not that shocked.

Fury ducks AJ multiple times and now Usyk. Fury just wants to fight Wilder and Chisora level guys at best.

Easy solution to this - make them mandatories for each others belts...

Boxing is littered with fighters taking the most money for the least risk - not exactly the worst idea in the world is it? We want the best fights, but we ain't fighting!

I was saying it before on several topics: there's something wrong with the Saudis' deal.

Usyk needs to take the 40% and get this fight going.

Fury we know is shameless. Someone should let him know it's antics like this that are the reason that he still can't see AJ commercially

I’m a huge Fury fan but he really needs to make this fight. Chisora was a total dud but I didn’t go in too hard as felt the Usyk fight would definitely happen next.

Well as has been pointed out before, by listening to what the Saudi negotiator said, there were too many people that had been promised too many things on Fury's side.

Likely the issue was Fury wants his large purse, but at the same time ESPN and BT sport wanted guarantees. You'll probably recall that whilst Joshua and Usyk got a big purse in the their last fight, the Saudi's auctioned off the TV rights.

Obviously the Saudi negotiator can't come out and directly say this as he wants to keep relations good for future deals, but it was pretty obvious what he was getting at.

Can you share the interview with the Saudi guy?
