Jake Paul tried mma with a grappler, he was quickly grounded and tapped out. He is not like his brother Logan, a failed highschool wrestler doesn't come close to a solid grappler in mma. A blue belt will tap out a guy like Jake.

So you guarantee that the mma guy wins every time?

if you have a pair of aces , there is a chance you could lose heads up with a pair of deuce. But the chances are always in your favor.

Ray Mercer and tim was the perfect storm of events that lead up to a scenario where a hidden agreement was made to stand and keep it boxing like the original fight was intended. While Tim did throw a kick, Mercer looked at him and grimace, Tim then decided to try his hands against that sledgehammer fist old man. Good win for Mercer, proud of him, but Tim in any rematch scenario would just take him down and gnp or sub.

Too bad history has proven otherwise.

This is how numbers work, a guarantee is 100%. MMA fighters have not won 100% of their fights against opponents coming from boxing.

Of course a blue belt would tap out Jake, especially if they are around the same size but the fact is Jake Paul does have a wrestling background and while not as good as Logan's he could beat most BOXERS around the same size as him (As could Logan) In an MMA fight, also Jake has recently started training in BJJ.

If you have so much faith in average amateur boxers being able to do that then why don't they? Adesanya lost one controversial decision in a boxing match, do you think that guy that had that win over Adesanya could have beaten him in Kickboxing? Nah better just stick to the little throwing hands agreement and leave out the knees and kicks lol
