Ok I just rewatched Fulton's fight with Roman. I have it 50/50.

Fulton can fight and is the naturally bigger man. The big Question of the fight for me is not how good Inoue is, its if he can carry his power up 4 pounds north against the most difficult opponent of his career. We'll see in May but I favor Fulton to win this.

I kinda see it as the battle of footwork. Whoever has the better footwork will win this.

I've got Inoue ultimately, just can't puzzle out whether he gets it done inside schedule or not.

Every fighter got a kryptonite. Like Pac had Marquez problems etc. Well, who is Inoue's? I doubt it's Fulton. I mean. He gonna have to pick himself of the mat and counter the living crap out of the monster. Possibly go in the trenches to win. We will see. So far he doesn't have much power to get Inoue tentative. We shall see how slick he is doe!!

When you look at the fight realistically, all Inoue has is a punchers chance.

I see Inoue winning either on points or by stoppage, it depends on if his power comes up with him, this will be is 4th division so it's possible his power loses some of it's potency against these bigger men.

But even if his power doesn't come up with him I think he's technically superior to Fulton. Quicker feet, better jab, better counter puncher, better punch variety. Fulton isn't bad but he isn't great either and I think it will take a great figher to beat Inoue.

Yeah out slicking Inoue from the outside is his only real chance, but Inoue isn't some basic come forward fighter like Roman and we saw how Figueroa gave Fulton all kinds of problems and had no problem finding his chin or forcing him to trade. Fulton is about to face the best fighter he's ever faced and I suspect he's really going to struggle with Inoue's footwork and counters.

Exactly. Either engage and get hurt by Inoue's footwork and array of hurtful two-handed artillery to the head or body, or try to survive.

Fulton is a savy boxer with real skills, this should be a good fight.

Fig is on an up his style is a handful.Inoue is no volume puncher. He gives you opportunity in the fight. Its a stop and go affair more of a tactical fight .Occasionally war breaks out here and there. Fig doesnt give you time to breath he’s a big 122.Now Featherweight.Although he beat a mediocre magsayo.Even so nobody makes magsayo hug for dear life.Inoue does apply pressure but in a different manner.Mentally draining and that threat of a KO at any moment.Systematically break you down effect. My take on this Inoue gives you opportunities in the fight. But for Fulton lack of power i doubt he can inflict damage enough to wound the monster have him in a vulnerable state...Therefore Inoue by Tko 9.

Is the OP correct? The fight is May 7? That means it will show on Saturday in California? I thought it was on a Tuesday.
