I still can't believe Ernesto Marcel isn't in the HOF either.

You're conflating at least three different people, mate.

Wisaksil "Srisaket Sor Rungvisai" Wangek is the guy that beat Chocolatito x2 and Estrada... but he never beat a fighter named Cuevas (nor did Pong...and I'm failing to come up with a Thai fighter that did off the cuff)

Eh, no big deal, he only fought prime Durán, Argüello, Gómez x2, and Shibata - coming through with a 3-1-1 record against them. :sisi1

(if my tone wasn't clear, yes, Nato should absolutely be in, clear ATG featherweight..)

His list of victims is simply insane; it's a "who's who." One of the best P4P boxers of his era. One of the best Flyweights ever... He is so understated.

For example, he is infinitely more worthy of HOF recognition than guys like Tim Bradley, Sergio Martinez, Carl Froch, Jorge Arce, etc. Truly. Head and shoulders, in my view. Call me a fanboy, sure. I don't know how everyone isn't!

Worth noting that in 1995 Jerry Pahayahay actually became a world title challenger, and has a bunch of interesting results, aside from the Wonjongkam bouts.
He beat the likes of Bert Batawang, Noel Tunacao (Malcolm's brother), Joma Gamboa (no relation to Yuriorkis but a future WBA world champion), a draw with Chana Porpaoin (as this was still prime Chana)

Certainly not the bum his record suggests

I happen to be friends on Facebook with Tuñacao, so I shot him a message asking his opinion re: Pong getting in..

Malcolm was at the recent Beppu Vs Yada fight, be worth asking him what he thought of it. Saw he live streamed Simsri Vs Bacolod from the same show....

A fighter that definitely deserves some recognition. Curious where people rate him amongst the greatest Flyweights and Thai fighters. Also how well do you think he fares with other greats in that weight class such as Pascual Perez, Fighting Harada, Pone Kingpetch, Miguel Canto, Roman Gonzalez, Mark Johnson, etc.

I rate him top 20 at Fly. Can check my spreadsheet tomorrow (I've memorised the exact order of my top 10 in the original 8 weight divisions, but often need to check to be certain on positions 11-20), I think I have him around #14.

I'm not a big one for predicting H2H for fighters from different eras, but I rank all those you listed above him at Fly, apart from Gonzalez (also top 20) and Johnson (not top 20). My rankings are purely based on the records of fights that happened, they don't factor in predicted results of fights that did not.
