The obvious solution is to go back to Saudi and accept their offer, which will likely give Fury the bigger slice and Usyk will get the number that he is happy with and originally agreed to.
As others have said. Do it 60 to the winner 40 to the loser. No reason not to. Fury plays this humble crap same as aj did when in reality its not case , yes he deserves paid well and will be but all this fighting man talk is bollocks when cant agree 50 50 or 55 45 percentage when be making insane amount of money
This is definitely off by the sounds of it (ID Boxing interview with Alex Krassyuk) Usyk will fight DDD and Tyson Fury vs ?
Usyk Dubois would be an extreme mismatch. How Dubois has got a shot at a World Title after beating Trevor Bryan and Bogdan Dinu amazes me.
Even if Fury thinks he should get 60 that is the most generous offer you could give him. 50/50 is definitely a valid split for the two. The fact that he’s not willing to budge on it at all says an awful lot. Ngl I’m just bored of this whole saga and yet I’m not really surprised it is playing out this way.
Who are the most likely opponents for Fury now then? The WBC top 15 in order: Deontay Wilder Andy Ruiz Frank Sanchez Arslanbek Makhmudov Anthony Joshua Dillian Whyte Martin Bakole Zhan Kossobutskiy Otto Wallin Joseph Parker Jared Anderson Luis Ortiz Efe Ajagba Filip Hrgovic Bakhodir Jalolov
Completely and utterly deluded I know this might come as a shock because of how he was treated by Frank, but Whyte actually WAS a relatively big name in the UK. His PPV buys with Eddie and Sky weren't too shabby. So Fury-Whyte, not to mention this being Fury's homecoming (think Lewis-Botha), were a huge factor in driving that fight's sales. Same goes for Delboy I also think the writing's on the wall for anyone who wants to see it that the Fury-Whyte attendance wasn't 94k or whatever tf it was claimed to be, and while I admit it did do VERY well, the whole thing reeked of Fury trying to get one over AJ and Frank trying to get one over Eddie. I don't like having these kinds of conversations as it comes across as non-boxing and frankly a little desperate, but I need to put Fury fanboys into their place after having the heavyweight undisputed (in the UK) obstructed by one idiot family and their greed
I am hoping for Ruiz, but I am expecting it to be Ajagba. It seems like Fury is fighting on April 29 at Wembley regardless of what happens with Usyk. They are running short of time to make an announcement. I can see them moving to a different date.
