Right or wrong he comes out representing the Union Jack that's good enough for me.

I like Usyk, he's a very likeable bloke but to support him over a fellow Brit? Never.

You know Furys loyalty to the union flag how? Your basing your opinion purely on an assumption. Some people actually base their opinion on facts like Usyk genuinely seems a much nicer guy where Fury comes across as an arrogant greedy egotistical arsehole. You've labelled supporting Fury as patriotic yourself yet there's plenty of Brits on this site I'd bet many patriotic but rooting for Usyk.

Fury represents Ireland and gypsies by his own admission. He was anti England and wanted to come out to the Irish anthem for the Klitschko fight. He suddenly discovered his patriotic streak as his popularity here increased - how convenient. As for mindlessly following someone who supposedly represents this country, nah you're alright I'm not 12 anymore. Billy Joe Saunders is a Brit and you wouldn't catch me cheering him on for all the poppies in Afghanistan.
I'm neutral on this fight. Usyk is a top fighter and a top guy.

The Union Jack is a crap flag, if you aren't English coming out to that flag is poor. I don't really understand Fury, one minute he's Irish, the next he's got a Union Jack draped over him, does the statue and life of James Connolly not mean anything to him?

Oi! You go too far. the Union Jack is iconic.

Fury was funny, acting the edgy **** when he was in his 20s. In his mid-30s, still coming out with the xenophobic, fake little Englander shtick...that just makes him a ****.

Do Brits get your unconditional support regardless of their character then? I find that baffling as **** tbh.

For example I won't support AJ in any fight after his post fight antics last year. Because he's a spoilt brat who lacks sportsmanship and for me that's a big part of boxing.

I also want to see Benn get KTFO next time he's out. You'll really be supporting him just because he's from this island?

Of course we all like to see Brits do well but if they act like ****s and bring shame on this nation then I want to see them get humbled.

The Union Jack is a crap flag and James Connolly? Oh dear.

It's time for me to crawl under a rock once again.

Usyk = the man who saved boxing by being a proper fighter.

Shame on frank Warren saying it’ll be a “simple 50-50” and then taking advantage of a good honest fighter, him and fury are vile conmen.

I don’t see why you would have to support someone just cos your the same nationality?

I used to like Fury and thought his comeback was great but over the last couple of years he’s just become insufferable. People are drawn to personalities not what nationality they are. I prefer Usyk fighting style and I find him genuinely funny and you can tell he’s a humble guy. He will fight anyone anywhere. Fury has just turned into a complete parody of himself and his trash talking is just boring now . All he calls people is shithouses and dossers it’s just boring. He isn’t going to be able to get into Usyk head either.

The concept that you have to support someone purely because they just happen to have been born closer to you than their opponent is ridiculous.

Fury is a highly unpleasant character, from a vile family. I could write a long list of reasons to not support him but struggle to think of one reason not to support Usyk.

The ‘he’s representing the Union Jack’ argument is banal to an extreme level.

I’m English through and through, privileged to have represented and captained my country in sport myself but I supported Usyk against AJ and will definitely want Usyk to beat the belly. I just can’t take to Fury and his constant ********.
