(there've been whispers of talks falling completely apart this week and each men going their separate ways, Usyk to face Dubois and Fury to either link up with Joshua or retire)

 

Fury's net worth is over 50 million quid. He can spare a million £ for a charitable donation after getting 70% of the purse (one projected to be 'record setting', mind you) and his ego soothed of having all his own unreasonable demands met. As for losing 1% from his purse for every day he delays - rather simple, do not delay.

 

1st page of the General is more than 50% threads on minor developments about (or just individuals' random trivial passing thoughts on) just two fights: this one and Tank vs. Kingry, both of which have official poll & discussion threads remaining actively bumped the whole time.

Do we just have too many newbs that weren't around for the Mayweather Pacquiao thread merge dumping? It's like people go to create a thread, see there's a dozen already on a particular fight, and think "nope, my unique perspective on the one very narrow aspect I'm addressing MUST be its own additional thread". Anybody here over ten years ago has no excuse to not remember how outta hand that got, and how unreadable it made the forum.

 

Nobody's putting a gun to anyone's head. Those are Usyk's terms for accepting 70-30. Zero percent unreasonable.

And regardless of his political views, Usyk didn't say to provide financial support to Ukraine's military. Pretty sure he meant civilian aid. Nobody should have compunctions about helping victims of war, no matter what side they feel is "right" in a conflict.
