Even if Fury beats Usyk, Usyk will still be way ahead of him on the list of the greatest fighters of all time.

I'm not talking about heavyweight rankings of all time by the way.

 

Supposedly the biggest heavyweight fight in thirty years (two undefeated undisputed fighters etc) has just been made and people on here are bickering about percentage splits.

Exactly. It’s a bit weird how there are people on here whose hatred of Fury supersedes their passion for boxing and desire to actually watch the best fights. It’s bizarre and seemingly unique to boxing. Amazes me how people get so wound up and emotionally invested.

 

I think people are just waiting to see if it is actually on. Obviously there was a reaction when it looked like it was off.

You're tying yourself in knots.

1) Klitschko was 39, and you say he's 40, then you talk about hyperbole lol

2) "the competition is not good enough" lol was it good enough for w. klitschko who fought worst opponents ever and still lost 5 times four times to average joes

3) "guy coming up from cruiserweight" lol what a way to describe Usyk ffs. That is hilarious. Never heard anyone say that about Lewis, Bowe, Moorer etc beating Holyfield and Usyk is bigger than Holyfield. Also loads of Klitschko's opponents were smaller than Usyk or coming up from cruiser.... why is he considered one of the greats then? They were also much worse than Usyk coming up from cruiser.... literally two things over Klitschko you are contradicting yourself with

I think you’re getting me confused with another poster, maybe Gonzo has been on here. You’ll struggle to find a poster that gets less wound up about boxing than me.

Keep up this character you’re playing though, I’m enjoying the comedy!

 

Why is it a bad thing to say fury will use his size? I think that’ll be a massive factor in fight but it’s not meant in a derogatory sense.

He’s a big big man but he knows how to use it well, he’s not just size, Joshua also had size on usyk, but fury is much cleverer in how he applies that advantage. Will be a big factor. Don’t see why saying that means someone is being negative unless thy are saying it like “he’s crap except for size” or something along those lines.

And yes usyk will use his speed of foot! Fascinating what will prevail

 

There’s not a strong chance this fight happens as planned in April IMO.

 

Ha well not sure about that, it wasn’t for me anyway was just genuinely gutted I felt it was sliding away, and yes felt like it was fury dragging his heels (not cos he’s scared,cos of money ego whatever). Anyway none of that matters now cos it’s on!!

Really like usyk and think he’ll give good showing but see Tyson getting him.
