Or just maybe, people are pointing out how ridiculous it is that fury now has a problem with a rematch clause? After he made Usyk accept 70/30 when Warren said it was a “simple 50/50 split and easy to make”. Weird you support such vile conmen.

I'd love it to go ahead without a rematch tbh as it'd allow the division to move on. It was Fury who initially asked for the rematch though. And now he's changed his mind at the 11th hour after informing the WBA that terms were agreed.

What possible reason could he be doing that for?

It's Fury who requested the rematch clause, now he doesn't want it, oh yeah, it's okay, he's got bipolar hasn't he, that'll be it. Leave him alone, he's not well etc

Yeah this latest development is nonsense. You can sell it as bravado to do away with the rematch clause but it's not conducive to getting a fight made. It's an unnecessary roadblock at the last minute. Why would you do that? Does he want to fight or not? If he has an issue with it why wait until now to bring it up?

It's boll*#ks really. Asking for a bigger split is logical. This is just an obstacle designed to get your opponent to pull out.

    He's bottled it.

I’m hoping they’ve both been put up to this to build the hype and the fight gets announced momentarily. What are the chances?

Refreshing to see a fighter accept terms which are clearly geared to make him refuse to sign
Usyk clearly a fighting man and coming out like a boss at the minute, fury trying to play his normal will he/won't he shenanigans and usyk having none of it

Usyk's team don't seem like the type to play these silly games.

Fury needs to be taken to task by fans for this fight falling through. Clowns like G.A.D won't and Simon Jordan will have a nibble, but it's up to the actual PPV-buying public to name and shame this clown

It's like all the times fury calls his opponents **** houses it is looking more and more that he is fast becoming the biggest one.

They aren’t m8 and they have a track record of being straight shooters in negotiations.Usyk is showing him up for the bullshitter he is.

    "Oooh the Fury mind games"

Not working are they, instead he's looking like a bald idiot with permanently surprised eyes.

Kind of mind games Fury can’t get in Usyk’s head and I think this makes him worried deep down. Fury still wins for me if he’s turns up motivated and it his best, which I think he’s struggling with right now.

As far as I’m aware there’s a date booked at Wembley for April 29th, if for any reason fury USKY doesn’t get made it won’t be the first time in the history of heavyweight boxing and it won’t be the last.

Fury has never DUCKED any of the top guys of this era and until he does it’s absurd to call him a ducker.

IF this fight doesn’t happen on April 29th now it’ll be down to both USKY - for trying to insert an additional clause outside of the contract (the one million payment) - and Fury - for refusing the rematch clause he already agreed to put in there.

It takes two to make a fight and I’m not naive enough to assume I know or indeed care to know the specifics of contractual negotiations. I’m from the old school when fights only got announced when they were signed so I pay little to no attention to all the speculative noise before that point.

It was recently my managers agreed on a deal with a client: what service we'll provide and the price for. I engaged the resources, drafted the contract with the agreed amount and guess what - the client rejected it if not reworked, as he insisted on details what the services we're providing are, but in depth (while they're fully aware of them and while they were described anyway). Why am I saying this? Because no matter the agreements and even the contracts, there're plenty of details and teasing on seemingly agreed therms. And this is a client that I am working few contracts per week with, I mean both companies know eachother.

True - Fury asks for something and it's instantly scandalous, but Usyk can put a condition regarding the other man's money and it's fine?
