It won’t work. Fury is ten years older, much heavier, slower and less fit than he was back then while Usyk is faster, more mobile, more agile and more skilled than Cunningham ever was. No wonder Fury wants nothing to do with “the middleweight”. Usyk is like the combination of the best attributes of the two guys Fury struggled against the most in his career: Cunningham and Wallin. Usyk is all wrong for Fury. If a Cunningham caused a great deal of difficulties to a ten years younger, lighter and faster Fury, Usyk will batter him into retirement - and Fury knows this.

I 100% agree this is how Fury will fight

Not that the fight will happen

However my counter-argument is that while Usyk is known for being a slick southpaw, he actually has a decent defence that doesn't rely on movement. Look at the second AJ fight. He knows how to cover up, clinch and I'm sure in his hundreds of amateur fights he would've faced guys with Fury's style, so it's not like Usyk will be defenceless

I do admit Usyk looked pretty novicey against Chisora but we don't know if that was a one-off until the Fury fight happens

Not that the fight will happen

EDIT: I just wanted to say that Wlad shot himself in the foot by throwing Povetkin around. That could've been the signature win he always needed for his resume. Instead it was a shitfest and Wlad's best win is a toss-up between various washed-up previous-era heavyweights, Haye and Pulev

Let's say the rest is reasonable, but he struggled in the second Wilder fight?

Again: I think it's all theatre and the therms were agreed some time ago.

Of course he will. That's one of the reasons Mr Rematch has become Mr Averse to Rematches all of a sudden. The big fat greedy coward has put roadblock after roadblock up to try and make it impossible for Usyk to sign on the dotted line, and 99.99999% of other champs in Usyk's position would've justifiably pulled out long ago, but the people's champ keeps calling his bluff and backing him into a corner and Belly is absolutely seething inside about it.

Just read the comments. These ''genius mind games'' by Belly (and they're not it just him being a greedy scumbag ducking coward) are losing him countless fans from his own country, let alone from around the world. I was a huge fan of his, and I have been for longer than most, but I despise him now.

''Am looking at all the comments on various clips and so many start with I am a Fury fan but or I used to be a Fury fan, he needs to stop all this nonsense or he won't have any support left, Usyk is coming out of this really well, a classy no nonsense warrior who just wants to get the fight on''

I half think this to be the case. Playing heel is one way to sell, get everyone to root for Usyk, they buy hoping Fury loses.

I think a profile like Usyk is much harder to clinch than a Povetkin who can't counter.

I think Mr Fury has had his bluff called! Never expected the 70/30 to be excepted.

Hopefully this is the end of Fury's nonsense and he just gets his head down and trains.

Even TalkSPORT pointed out he has backed himself into a corner if Usyk agrees (which he just did). All he can do now is fight

The no rematch clause makes sense
The statement is coming from someone whose confident in their abilities

Not sure that is necessary. If Fury v Whyte was a sell out at Wembley with next to no promotion, then I'm not sure Undisputed needs this kind of promotion.

We will see. I still expect more roadblocks or injuries to pull out of the fight.

Usyk can stop that grab a smother by using his head. Create a bad cut on Fury early. Fury wants to fight dirty, Usyk should headbutt everytime he grabs and tries to put his weight on him.
