I don’t hate the fight as Franklin isn’t terrible and it should give AJ a nice knockout win.

I don’t like that the fight is probably leading to a pointless Whyte rematch. Dillian is washed and has zero chin.

Williams will win via an easy stoppage, but it’ll be good for him to be on a big platform in the UK. It’ll also build up the Williams Cash fight nicely in the summer.

Apparently Kieron Conway could be on the undercard too. Not too sure about Shannon Courtenay Nina Hughes.

They should, but it probably won't happen.

DAZN UK really needs to watch out and make sure they treat their customers properly.

 

Don't think I have seen any worse examples of customer service.

It is simply astonishing - lying to customers, huge price increases and now this Sky channel fiasco on top for existing loyal subscribers.

Don't forget, AJ couldn't figure out Parker really, and he looked all out of ideas vs Takam until the ref figured him out, and that was prime AJ.

Franklin seems fairly durable, and has some basic defensive skills. AJ may be punching at the guard for 12 rounds in this one.

 

AJ hasn't been in an exciting fight for years barring getting pummelled by the fat Mexican

 

Yeah, I think he left most of his confidence in the ring after the klitschko fight. My gut instinct is AJ knew he got lucky that Wlad inexplicably didn't step on the gas and gave AJ like 6 rounds to get a second wind.

From that fight on he wasn't impressive, he was VERY fortunate Povetkin wasn't 2-3 years younger, I think Parker was spooked by his reputation, the Ruiz rematch, I think we all know Ruiz simply ate himself out of that fight.

The Usyk fights, especially the rematch really sealed it for me. AJ just doesn't have it in him to bite down on the gumshield and fight, he mentally quit in both fights against Usyk after 8 rounds, usyk just didn't have the power to put him down.

I'm not saying this because I hate AJ either, that's just how I see it.

 

Purely from an entertainment stand point he hasn't delivered it since the VK fight. I think that's part of the issue with why they've had to close blocks and slash prices.

Previously he was edge of the seat stuff. But he has been boring for too long now.

Hopefully this makes them rethink the god awful Joshua V Whyte 2 fight they keep pretending people want to see.
