How would the Jones who beat Ruiz do against Usyk?

Odds on Usyk stops him, and probably around round 9 or 10

Usyk would win and it would be pretty convincing. RJJ is not a heavyweight.

Roy does not see the final bell, he gets stopped pretty easily.

I would. He fought Ruiz and not Klitschko for a reason.

Usyk isn't a Klitschko either. Say what you will about Ruiz, but the other HW's at the time did NOT have an easy time w/ him. Basically just Tua blitzing him. and then RJJ outpointing him.

People forget Ruiz fought Holyfield straight after Holyfield almost beat a prime Lennox Lewis just saying.

Ruiz gets a lot of hate due to his ugly as hell style. But he worked with what he had, and if the much better boxers could not enforce their will on him and establish their style, they lost. hated watching his fights, but props.

I think Usyk would look basic against Jones.

He would try his fancy little moves he does but Jones would just tag him with combos before he knew what had happened. Jones is NOT a stiff euro like huck, Bredis, gassiev, or a stiff bodybuilder like Joshua, he styles on those guys, they are food for Jones.

Usyk has never fought a real slick guy like Jones, and guys like him don't usually react well to being the more clunky boxer in the ring after being used to being the smoother.

You can never count on Jones chin though, and the size difference was pretty big albeit less than between Jones and Ruiz.

At 200lbs I have Jones stopping Usyk, at heavyweight I'd back Jones on points.

I can see Jones winning at 200, but losing at HW.
