I seem to remember the announcer asking “ who in their right mind would get in the ring with Ruddock “ …and then they showed Tyson’s face …is there more than one version?
i watched it at an off campus house during College. I felt like Tyson was winning but the stoppage was a bit suspect. If it had gone on Tyson would still have won
Tyson was bouncing Ruddock's head like a basketball. Not to mention brutal damage he took before that. That fight should have been stopped
I remember that version as well. Just can't find it for some reason! Here's a different promo that I remember quite well. This content is protected
Yeah probably a better chance it’s Farina or someone. If my timing is correct Leary was just starting to get on the scene in the early 90s. I watched a few of his early stand up acts
I know I listen to that one in my car sometimes. That’s from “ No cure to cancer.” Man was freakin awesome as a stand up comedian
Yet due to the 2nd fight not being stopped when it should've been, that resulted in Ruddock getting brain damage. The ref in the first fight made the right call.
''If he's not dead it doesn't count.'' Tyson really was one of the most intimidating men in the history of our species. It was a great scrap against Ruddock, Tyson pretty much stood and relied on his granite chin and punch power, no defensive techniques applied. One in the eye for the idiots like Teddy Atlas who say he lost to everyone who fought back.
