Whatever they were scheming, they shouldn't have killed off ABS-CBN, but punished instead. Punish it, like forcing tremendous taxes and stuff, like say the Government would get 50-75 percent of millions of advertising revenues per month, for 10 years, 20 years, even perpetual, and say put it to SSS, health care and similar, transportation and other subsidies, etc., etc.. ABS-CBN is now gone in both TV and radio, so ZERO. Zero for ABS-CBN, zero for the Government too, and of course zero to the many I wrote above (from the TV/radio revenues). They killed it, yet cigarette corporations have been literally killing people with their cigarettes directly and second hand smoke. What did the likes of Pacquiao do quite back in time? He was among the ones to increase the sin taxes, hence the resulting funds resulting to free health care contributions of Seniors. It was like the Seniors completed their contributions themselves. My parents benefited from it. We will all grow old, become Seniors ourselves.

 

Didn't know the extend of all that, what was their reasoning for cutting them off? was it because their channel went against Duterte or misspoke about him & his policies/regulations?

You would know better over there, but how was Pac handling the corruption, i saw him going on many interview's saying he wants to build a mega prison to enslave the corrupt there which was probably not the best decision to publicly air out those plans especially before the election,

Apparently social media was not allowing his posts & spreading misinformation to garner votes to the other direction, who can truly say as both sides have found to have dirt on their hands as is the case for politics in general,

Millions which could have gone to SSS pension funds, PhilHealth funds, transportation/fare subsidies- jeepneys, MRT, taxi, even tricycles, electrical and water subsidies, medical subsidies - cancer treatment, dialysis, operations, surgeries, medicines, etc., etc. The Government could have had put them into a tight space to their liking, which would benefit the whole nation for decades, generations, even in perpetuity. The TV/Radio entities are among the biggest, top tax payers. And they threw it all away just like that, for what, for the likes of your rant above? You value those instead of the huge benefits the masses would get instead? Look what the increase in sin tax went to (courtesy of your hated Pacquiao and others), billions, free PhilHealth contributions to our Seniors, our own parents, our own parents and grandparents, we will all grow old.
