Really looking forward to this one. I think Lopez will win but Conlan shouldn't be discounted especially in Belfast. This will be a week after Katie Taylor Amanda Serrano in Dublin. The UK and Ireland main event schedule is looking really good for the first 6 months of the year.

 

I'm backing Lopez as he isn't an IRA sympathising Kinahan apologist scumbag.

I would presume it would be picked up by a major broadcaster but no news on it right now. Hopefully it doesn't end up on FiteTv.

By the way for Davies Ritson this week, it's going to end up on Youtube most likely.

I think Lopez will win too, but with it being in Belfast the judges might not be very fair at all.

I fancy Conlan to win this on points. Home advantage will be key, fans wise and if it’s close he’ll get the nod.

 

He showed against Wood he’s improved, I’ve seen him in New York 5 times and apart from his debut (which was much of a muchness), he always looked nothing special.

Also set to be a Queensberry show and on BT which should see a decent undercard. Padraig McCrory, Anto Cacace, Pierce O Leary & Tyrone McKenna.

 

Seems odd that BT are showing this opposed to Sky? Sky and Top Rank have their deal?

This is going to clash with Billam Smith at the Vitality Stadium potentially. I heard that Lara vs Warrington / Wood at a stadium could also be on the same night.

 

They should move the date of the show so we avoid it colliding with Boxxer/Sky and Matchroom/DAZN UK.

 

Conlan will win, he's got this, he's got the right style to beat Lopez. It'll be a great atmosphere
