Toney was better than Takam and AJ looked extremely limited v Takam.

Toney was outboxed by Sam Peters FFS let that sink in lol Toney was nothing but a roided up punching bag at heavy.

The history of boxing is littered with great fighters that moved up much in weight and whupped much ass.

RJJ, Bhop & Toney are bonafide ATGs, with far superior skills to what is around today, at any weight. Usyk is not knocking any of them out at 200 lbs., even if Hopkins, the naturally smallest of the three, came in at 175.

Wouldn't Roy just have koed Usyk with a bodyshot and broken like 3 or 4 of his ribs like he did to Virgil Hill?

Because Roy was that good. A supermiddle that could beat a somewhat decent heavyweight in Ruiz. That doesn't mean he's beating an elite heavyweight in Usyk

I think Roy can beat Usyk at Lightheavy weight.

    The point is:

Sam Peter was big, strong and aggressive.

Yet he couldn’t punch a hole through Toney.

Toney was never stopped in his life.

So then how could anyone have expected Breidis to have destroyed him?

Roy has never even knocked down anyone remotely world class above 175, let alone stopped or knocked anyone who was out

Usyk has fought massive/big punchers like AJ, Gassiev, Briedis, Chisora, Bellew, Glowacki, Huck, Hunter, Majidov, Joyce, Nistor and none of them came close to knocking him out, stopping him, or even dropping him but apparently Roy would

He's already fought one of the most savage punchers/most savage body punchers in the entire sport, someone who has knocked out numerous top HWs in the gym and can punch holes in castle walls

And Usyk wouldn't be walking in face first to Toney's counters all night like Jirov's trainers had him doing. Jirov could actually box and when he used his brain and did so I seem to recall it working for him in that fight

Of course he couldn't box like Usyk can. Jirov's trainers were banking on him stopping Toney who'd never been stopped by wearing him down with constant pressure even though he, as said, was walking into flush counters all night and taking a lot of punishment. Great tactic that.

Apparently Jones can easily outbox Toney but Usyk isn't capable of doing the same. Unless that is the Rojos are suggesting that Jirov fought a much better and healthier version of Toney than Roy did? Hmm...

But that's neither here nor there because neither Roy or Toney are getting past VADA testing

But at 6`3 Usyk would be drained.

How many time did Jones finish a fighter with a body shot? Count the amount of fighters Roy didn`t stop by going to the body and why wouldn`t Usyk be one of them?

Usyk would have toyed with Hill.

B-hop was nowhere near as good as Usyk is when he met Roy the firstime and Usyk is constantly probing with his lead hand darting in and out not just walking listlessly forwards the way Toney did v Jones, do you really think the version of B-hop and Toney that Jones beat could have stood a chasnce v Usyk? Usyk has a longer jab than Toney and B-hop had and he throws more jabs than those two fighters did also.

I don't see a way Roy could possibly beat Usyk at CW or HW TBH.

And I like Roy more, I think Roy is top 2 in history as far as a physical specimen, but I just can't see a way Roy could pot shot and evade against someone as good and as big as Usyk. I don't see a scenario where it would be possible.

Toney was out of shape the whole time he was at Heavyweight even with the roids he was lazy.
