true Vitali never learnt to keep his left hand up. Lewis exploited his defensive flaws and the stoppage was justified

 

This is just speaking in generalisations and ignoring context. When the highest Ring ranker he beat was a faded Sam Peter it throws that argument down the tube. This isn't top trumps. Grading a guy based on his box rec page requires no understand of context. Hell , you don't even need to see a single fight of his to push that argument.

When you have a guy that lost to the two best guys he faced , then those losing efforts will obviously be a huge red mark on his record.

Furthermore , what compares him to Bruno is only performance against Lewis.

 

Do you think Bruno would struggle with Vitali's opponents, yes or no?

Bruno lost to guys like a prime Mike Tyson and Lennox Lewis, he wasn't losing to tomato cans or journeymen.

 

Bruno fought a pre prime Lewis but still way better than the version Vitali fought.

 

The only guys Vitali fought (that he beat) that i'd give a chance against Bruno are Peter and Sanders.

 

Herbie Hide vs. Frank Bruno would've been a fun night. Frank would likely be the favorite, but I could see either guy getting stopped.

 

Bruno would destroy Hide. Bruno's chin was like Jake LaMotta's compared to Herbie's.

 

Bruno's chin would've been susceptible to Hide's punch, too. Hide hit very hard, had faster hands, and moved around the ring a lot better than Frank.

I was a big Bruno fan. I could see Frank clubbing Hide and slowly battering him like Bowe. I can also see Hide catching Frank with fast, hard shots and Frank freezing up. Wouldn't have been the first time.

I feel like we got close to seeing that fight. Seems like there was a lot of talk about Hide and Bruno fighting if that High Noon in Hong Kong show had come off.

 

Prime Sanders could definitely beat Bruno. Vitalis win over Sanders though is the same as Povetkins win over Chris Byrd.

 

Yes I do. Bruno would probably take a few Ls if he fought Vitalis competition.

 

That wasnt a prime Lewis. That was pre Emanuel Steward. Prime Lewis is 97-02

 

That was my point. Vitali's opposition is so mediocre I could see Frank Bruno going undefeated against the vast majority of them.

Good chance he losses to someone like Chisora or Shannon Briggs. Legit 50/50. Frank Bruno simply was not very good.

With that being said this is further proving my point on how weak Vitali Klitschkos resume is and how overrated he is
