Stadium fight with no opponent is an interesting position for Boxxer to be in. Arsen is either going to pull some pants down or they have contracted themselves to a stadium fight with no actual plan in place which is nuts
its an 11,000 seater outdoor stadium that has additional security and surface relaying costings. The cost of the Vitality over somewhere like the M&S is atleast double for a fighter that has never done more than 3k. Its a bold move
I think Boxxer has it under control CBS's opponent and the entire event will be presented at a press conference on monday.
Chris Billam-Smith said that contractually he has signed to fight in a world title fight at the stadium in his next fight. Seems a strange thing for Boxxer to agree to without a deal already in place with one of the belt holders
It sure does. The fight as of last week wasnt signed as Arsen's team were still negotiating a potential Kovalev fight in Russia.
Matchroom doesn't have much to be proud of at the moment. The 2 UK events here in the month of March were both cheap events and the undercard for AJ vs Franklin looks poor.
And so is yours haha. It may be a step too far for CBS here. Arsen may be inactive, but he's near the top of the tree in the CW division. It may not be the strongest division out there, but unlike other divisions, at least we're seeing thing happen in the division and fights get made.
