ive brought the same thing up on here without a straight answer. why push for a 70 -30 flip for the rematch knowing they wouldnt go for it? 50-50 rematch. If the fight is a suoer close SD win for usyk, why would he suddenly get 70-30 at wembley, for example?

i despise fury, i think he's a grifter and a conman liar, but I think that was a weird move by team usyk

 

Some people don't like the facts while they otherwise dare to pretend they speak the truth.

You can despise a fighter, but still ask the right questions and have the doubts about the one you like. No sane person will blame you for either of the two, even that we see great examples of insane ones.

 

ill qualify it wiht this: usyk also brings bums to the seats beacuse he's a good fighter and people want to see fury challenged. and he brings the three belts, so warren and sky or BT what ever the hell theyre with, can promote the hell outta it as a once in a lifetime undisputed bout. so more...way more dough. but how much more than a usually fury fight. imo there's no world Usyk gets 70-30 split at wembley. You repeatedly said you weren't a Fury fan - yet you always argue his case and you always agree with the likes of miniq, Redbeard7, Thunderstorm etc. I remember when I registered, miniq was the first Fury lunatic I noted (of course, his style and the amount he posted his drivel was hard to miss) - and you were the second, always playing second fiddle to him. Then I remember the first time you claimed to me that you weren't a Fury fan - and I thought okay, I'm new here, this must be some weird "I'll tell the opposite of what is actually true" game that I'm not familiar with yet. It was so risible and blatant a lie that I naturally thought it was some inside joke where fans of fighter x adamantly claim they are not fans of fighter x around here.

Usyk could've corner Fury by saying: 60:40 at best, "take or leave it". He decided to play the same games as Fury and got exposed for. As for the rematch, he could've propose the same - 60:40 for the winner or 50:50 at best if it's at Wembley.

Why wouldn't they push for it when:
- they were lied about the 50/50 split which was agreed as early as last August
- Fury, after lowballing Usyk with a 70/30 split for the first fight, would have no belts and the fight would be in Saudi

One thing you and Ducky seem to forget: the 70/30 split was claimed for Usyk IF he wins the first fight. In any other case, their claim would have been 50/50.

Now, where is the contradiction here? Explain to me, please. How is it fair that Fury, with one belt, gets 70%, gets beaten, and without any belts, he gets again the larger chunk? Fury didn't even want to fight Joshua for 50/50 with no belts and being a much smaller draw.
