I don’t think it’s that surprising tbh. He made a right arse of himself after the Uysk rematch when he grabbed the microphone and started talking crap and I don’t think some of the public have forgotten that.

That was Uysks moment to talk to his people and celebrate with them during the terrible times they are currently in. Personally that really annoyed me and AJ can do one from now on. He should have left the ring and let Uysk have his moment. Especially with the current landscape.

I think you 2 are confused and should pay your local doctor a serious visit. He'll check you over.

Tyson Fury made fights against Deontay Wilder pretty easily (Within 48 hours I heard)

    Usyk yesterday ducked Tyson Fury.

AJ is scared to fight Tyson Fury and is one of the most protected fighters ever.

Ruiz in reality isn’t that bad. Franklin is dreadful.

I disagree that Usyk has ducked Fury.

I also don’t think AJ is scared of Fury one bit. I do think Hearn is worried about the outcome and therefore will impede it from happening

Yeah, I don’t buy into the ‘scared’ thing at all. None of them are ‘scared’ - that sort of talk is for the General Forum guys.

I do think that Fury was probably wary of Usyk but ultimately his ego (ie desire to be paid the same or better than Joshua) which has scuppered this fight.

Was re reading "four kings" book the other day. The no mas fight, an iconic moment in boxing history between 2 of the best to do it had 60k empty seats! Imagine that. The ring aslmost fell apart as well and had people holding it up. But its a foot note all these years later. i do wonder if, has time has gone on and our world has become more and more commified, if we over emphasis things like attendances, purses, PPV sales etc and how much itll actually matter in 30 yrs time when were all looking back and hopefully still alive!

Course he is. He's been a big time cash cow but at a real career crossroads. If he looses to Franklin it's virtually over for him.
His star power had waned and an uninspiring come back opponents was never going to generate loads of sales.
I actually think he could be coming into his last few fights if not matched correctly.

    No. Here is why...

There is a man, a man with a belly, a greedy belly, who call's himself a "fighting man". He has ducked AJ's previous opponent... an opponent that AJ fought twice, back to back. So AJ's stock has risen. If AJ manages, even for one night, to show up and put in a performance that was reminiscent of the old seek & destroy AJ and provides a highlight reel knockout, guess what? He becomes the media darling again. Whilst gaining praise and adoration for being a "fighting man" and taking on the man that keeps Tiresome Fury up at night.
