Yeah, the last line is the only line that matters really. Nobody knows the answer (everyone is behaving like they do though). In the end, people have decided to believe what promoters/instragram posts have indicated is true, no rematch, fight is made.

But people will mostly just say "well if it wasn't the rematch it would have been something else", which may be true.

Just as an FYI Usyks team were adament that it had to be 50/50 if there was 'no rematch', so no they didn't 'give in' here.

Reading between the lines they were pushing for the rematch because of the lower splits in the first fight.

Lol, no. They accepted the 70/30 AND the no rematch thing - even though it wasn't them who wanted a rematch in the first place. They said it would be back to 50/50 in case there would be any delay in the fight date.

It's ridiculous really that the starting position of this discussion is this "why Usyk didn't bend over backwards some more" notion. Just imagine if Joshua or Wilder or anyone else had such demands against Fury. You would all have had your panties in a twist, guys. But no, Usyk, that little Eastern European gappy teeth should have bent over backwards more, lol. I almost admire these desperate attempts of yours at trying to somehow make the whole thing look better for Fury. But then I always remember how funny it is that you guys hug the nuts this tight of the very guy who plays you like a fiddle. You are the ones who'd gladly pay for a Chisora 4 fight as you were the ones who gladly paid an all-time British record high PPV price for the Chisora 3 thing too.

Belly's reputation is in tatters and his credibility is shot to bits. You only have to take a gander at social media and read the YT comments to see it how badly he's getting roasted and how he's hemorrhaging fans by the thousands every day if not hour or minute.

He's already lost god knows how many in his own country, let alone the rest of the world. Those still inexplicably defending him are in a tiny minority and the vast majority of them are casuals - football yobbo types and trolls. The remainder are his utterly obsessed weirdo super fans who are clearly suffering from some kind of acute mental illness and deep down, as painful as it is for them to admit to themselves and their psychiatrists, they know he's a ducking coward fraud, that he never wanted this fight, and that his reputation is in complete tatters.

    Frank Warren

“The terms of the deal are really simple, it will be a 50/50 split, but it's where we can generate the most income to make it work. It's an easier fight to make instead of Joshua because there are no rival promoters involved. Usyk's people are free agents and that's not a problem.”

Aside from this being very bigoted, it's also very strange behaviour from a professional fighter. Openly admitting years in advance you have zero interest in facing someone before they've even won a world title in your division and that you still categorically don't want anything to do with them if even if they win all three belts off the second biggest star in world boxing and by far the biggest in your country.

Funny because he didn't have a problem facing foreigners Tom Schwarz, Wallin, Pianeta, Sefari, Wlad, and Hammer in his previous seven fights prior to making that statement. He fought Schwarz and Wallin in the US for goodness sake and no one had a clue who either were over there or anywhere else

Imagine holding one belt to your far more decorated and accomplished opponent's three

Weighing 50-60lbs more than them, having 7'' reach and 6'' height advantages over them

Having home advantage where you will be afforded free licence to cheat as much as you want

Where there's a good chance the judges will score the fight in your favour even if you get your ass whooped, and definitely will even if it's remotely close

Where there's a good chance the ref will wave it off with a premature stoppage in your favour

Where if you're badly hurt and on the verge of stoppage the round will end mysteriously early ala Dubois vs Lerana on a Big Frank card just four months or so ago

And the chance of any of the above happening to you is virtually zero

And having a completely unfair and highly disrespectful and insulting 70-0 split in your favour

But you still can't get the fight made?! WTF?!

The deck literally couldn't be stacked anymore in his favour and Usyk bent the knee and went far and above what any other champ, let alone a three-belt unified one, former undisputed at the weight below, current P4P#1 would of to try and make it happen.

Usyk literally bent over backwards to make the fight happen, Belly bent over backwards to ensure it never did, being incredibly greedy, unreasonable, disrespectful and just a repugnant POS from the outset.

He wanted Usyk to bow to his every demand and make all the concessions while he made none himself. If he genuinely wanted the fight it would've been made ages ago.

People actually expect Usyk to have zero self-respect and to bend over and let Belly violate him and treat him with the utmost disrespect every step of the way when he has more than paid his dues, has done everything he possibly could to raise his profile over here, in addition to him already having won his Olympic gold and beating Joyce in the WSB, four of his last five fights were on PPV over here all of which against British fighters, three on British soil, and he's coming off the back of a brace of huge wins over Great Britain's most popular fighter and who was the sport's second biggest star behind Clenelo.

Again, Usyk has more than paid his dues

    Olympic gold
    World Amateur gold
    European gold
    Undisputed CW champion
    Three-belt unified HW champion

ESPN Fighter of the Year (2018)
Sports Illustrated Fighter of the Year (2018)
CBS Fighter of the Year (2018)
Boxing Writers Association of America Fighter of the Year (2018)
Boxing News Fighter of the Year (2018)

Usyk left camp but Fury was never in it. That for me is the most telling thing about this mess.

As I understand it, Fury has been in camp since December, he hasn't really broken. But that's through Bunce/Boxing News and that probably gets cast out as MSM these days

Seriously though, what's your thinking for him having never been in camp?

Because they lied about SugarHill being in the country to train Fury.

The whole thing reaks from the Fury camp. My gut feeling is he wasn't ready for the fight so they hit the panic button and tried to delay the contract agreement long enough for the fight to be postponed a couple of months.

Frank Warren has said not only that he doesn't expect the fight to happen but that he "can't see how" it will ever happen.

There's brinksmanship, but that is outright wild behaviour if they are going to have a fight in a couple of weeks

I dont think I've ever witnessed a more incompetent pair of cowardly duckers in my life.

Firstly Krassyuk is the worst adviser on the planet, biting The Gypsy Kings hand off for 30 percent of the pot whilst representing a fighter with 3 belts, Krassyuk is an incompetent nincampoop, he should be ashamed and embarrassed at negotiating such a pitiful split for his client.

Secondly, Fury agreed to the demands of Usyk

Usyk thought Fury was badly out of shape and was totally adamant the fight take place on April 29th. Despite a 6 week mess of a training camp, Fury agreed to the demand because he knows 6 weeks easily sufficient to put a clinic on the Rabbit.

Secondly Fury decided he didnt want the initial rematch clause, he didnt want to be held up like he was with Wilder when the Usyk fight is a virtual mismatch with no need to shallack Usyk twice.

Usyk and Krassyuk again cried like little bitches so Fury again gave into the demand and allowed a rematch in the contract.

Fury then, more than fairly gave Usyk the same split for the rematch that Joshua did for his Usyk rematch and suddenly Krassyuk and Usyk are crying like little pussys again, greedily trying to get their desperate hands on some more of that gypsy king money.

So the first fight was agreed for april 29 as requested.

Then the rematch was agreed as requested.

Then Usyks turned down the fight because the rematch split he got from Joshua is not sufficient to get from Fury.

This is a blatant duck from Usyk.

If the first fight is agreed, why not believe in yourself to win it, and then if a rematch is necessary, negotiate your own split as the undisputed champion in the rematch?

This tells me that Usyk doesn't believe he can win the fight and has ducked Fury.

And that Krassyuk also now wants to duck the fight out of embarrassment for negotiating a pathetic 30 percent split in the first place.
