Filip Hrgovic wants a rematch against Zhang, but he is convinced that he can beat Usyk before that.

There is a small chance that Hrgovic can beat Usyk, just as there is a small chance that this fight will happen, but I like that he wants to fight Zhang again because he is aware that he could have done better in that fight and Zhang would definitely agree to a rematch because he is not a greedy boxer and has the balls to fight anyone...

 

I like Filip Hrgovic. He's got "something." Sometimes you watch him and you see traits that remind you of some names from the past. Other times, he doesn't look so good.

As harsh as it seems, it feels like he's either going to be REALLY successful once he breaks through ... or he's going to be a miserable flop. There won't be a lot of grey area.

Either way, I look forward to seeing how it plays out.

 

Hrgovic have to beat someone with good name to make fans believe in him again.

I believe he can beat old Usyk who can't move as well as he was with AJ.

 

Hrgovic should have gave Zhang an immediate rematch but there was a very small chance of that. Fair play to Zhang though he didn’t dwell on the robbery he just moved onto the Joyce fight .

 

How will he do that if all the good names are ducking him left and right. He dersives a shot at Usyk just not beacause he is mandatory or rank 1. IBF, he is the most avoided and ducked heavyweight out there.

 

Would Zhang had given Filip a remach if he had won? I think not.

 

Would Hrgovic have even wanted an immediate rematch if the decision had gone the right way ?

It seems everybody believes they can beat Usyk (except Fury).

 

Hrgovic just needs to fight . He's regressing badly due to inactivity. Although that could be said for most of the HWs.

 

Maybe criticze top fighters for refusing to fight him. We all know that he needs to fight, but no one wants to fight him.

His management and promoters are ****. They bring no money for fights, so no one is willing to fight him. Also they offered Andy Ruiz a funny 60:40 split in favor of Hrgovic, so also the purse bid was canceled. He could have fought Zhan Kossobutskiy, but Hrgovic wasn't interested

 

Am I the only 1 who doesn't rate Hrgovic in the slightest?

 

I'm not sure that Joyce would have preferred Zhang over Hrgovic, but I don't see anyone calling out Joyce to be fair. FWIW I like Hrgovic, but I think Joyce just steamrolls him
