Does anyone actually think Andy Ruiz has a legitimate shot at beating Fury?

Jarrel Miller vs. Lucas Browne is the heaviest - 610 lbs/276.6 kg.

That wasn't a heavyweight title fight. Just two really heavy guys.

I'll preface this by saying I think Fury will win.

That said I think Ruiz is an underappreciated fighter of late and there's the possibility that Fury overlooks him and comes in fat and outta shape. Meanwhile Ruiz goes the other way and goes all in, comes in at in great shape (for him),great mindset, runs some great combos and drops the big ducker a few times and takes his belt.

It's not likely but I'll take the odds and throw a couple bucks on it. Either way, **** Fury.

Narratives like this help to sell the fight: "Fury could overlook him", "Ruiz has already done it to Joshua", "No one gave Buster Douglas a chance either", "Imagine if the big b*stard got nailed" etc.

The only interesting thing about this fight would be whether Fury wins 12-0 or stops him. Don't discount it: Ruiz's corner could pull him out like Chisora 2 and Hammer or the British referee could wave it off after a 10 round pasting like Chisora 3 or Fury could hurt him as Joshua and Arreola did, pile on the punishment and take him out. Fury may well want to do so to make Joshua look bad and keep the KO streak going.

Ruiz has the same chance of winning against Fury that he did against AJ..oh wait..Ruiz won that fight.

Damon Runyon once said," no human being is more than 3 to 1 over another"
One could assume he wasn't a boxing fan.

Runyon was a sports correspondent who covered boxing, is supposed to have originated nicknames of certain boxers like Cinderella Man.
He also wrote a book about and was friends with Jack Dempsey, and I thought he was a original member of the Twentieth Century Sporting Club.

Ruiz always has a chance. He has a great chin, fast hands, and is excellent at punching with taller fighters.

If Fury comes in too heavy or makes one too many mistakes he could definitely take a loss against Ruiz.

Ruiz has 0 chance. Possibly the worst style match up in history lol. Look at what AJ was able to do. If Fury wanted to play it safe, it's an easy 120-108.

More interesting than Whyte or chisora but still little to no shot..Fury would really have to be fat and not give a **** but his recovery ability is good enough to weather a surprise
