Scared in the sense that he likes being considered by many as the top in the world, likes when a Stallone to promote an item publically states Fury is "the best of al time" eat and does not want to loose that status ... he knows Usyk is exceptionally talented and highly motivated .. I stand by him knowing he wants to avoid that stylistic matchup ... Today Fury's trainer announced that Fury never even started to train for the bout essentially jerking every one o-f ... I don't see things working out well for Fury long term .. he never got over his massive problems, simply was able to defer them ...
At this point I half wonder if it wasn't in his interest for Usyk to accept getting dicked over even more and just beating the everloving crap out of Fury. There's no way on god's green earth that Fury could get ready for Usyk in 5 weeks. I called it back here: "I don't think we're going to see the best version and in fact I think we are going to see the Free Willie version of Fury in April." Usyk would be engaging in full-power target practise by the last rounds.
Think some people are seeing the real Fury now. He's a deeply unpleasant man. Racism, sexism, homophobia, and bullying. His antics have always seemed ridiculous too. I can recognise his accomplishments in the ring (though opinions vary on them) and the act of coming back after being so unfit and if true mental health issues. He's also wasted fighters time, time they could have spent training for and fighting others. Dodged fights, is a drug cheat (like many others to be fair) . I would be pleased to see the WBC strip him of the title. Personally think the sooner he's out of boxing the better.
I don't think under any circumstances Fury fights him soon or next .. we're seeing Fury start to turn the corner .. I say Usyk beats on him like a Paq on De La Hoya ... maybe a Dempsey on Firpo ... Fury's been drinking, partying, has not fought a talented, fast guy in ages if ever ... Usyk may end up fighting Wilder next and dicing him ...

This is now one day after the fight has been cancelled and Fury is all over social media like a crackpot slamming Usky with true sleaze bag slander blaming him for the bout falling apart in not only an obvious attempt to deflect the blame that is hitting him hard but appearing for all intents and purposes like a true loose cannon who is mentally off .. Meanwhile Usky and his team have taken a very calm, classy route announcing it has fallen apart, very similar to the calm he kept after the AJ rematch when AJ melted down ... to me it's simple, the Fury arch is now on the way down ... yes he is at times very funny and interesting and well spoken, yes he edged out an ancient Klitschko and took the title , yes he came back from breakdowns at the time to defeat Wilder and showed terrific heart in the ring rising from knockdowns but let's be focused here ... his whole career is based on those two opponents, an old Klitschko and one trick Wilder ...in the meantime he has aged, suffered injuries , partied very hard, gained a ton of weight and seems to have bought into his own BS while Usky is not only super focused and well conditioned but presents an very unique stylistic challenge ... No one knows it more than Fury who is not only playing obvious games but playing them ugly and to me it shows he's off mentally again ... it's sad for the sport ... another great match up lost ...
You can only beat who's in front of u and tho Fury is not doing that now, Wilder was still a retaining undefeated champion. Yes he's not the most skilled but no one considers him that his drawing power comes from his power(pun intended). It was as good of a win as Fury could do then I dont take that away from him. Yep it's irrational hatred towards Wilder. I do think he needs to stop complaining and accept that he lost(if he hasn't done so by now) but tbf many fighters don't accept losses no matter how clear. I'm a Duran fan, I get that lol so that criticism shouldn't b directed at just him. It's bcuz of ego that they do that.
