I mean he probably will. If the Fury fight isn’t next then Usyk may as well deal with one of his mandatories.

In terms of risk/reward ratio, Dubois is Usyk’s best option. Hrgovic (IBF mandatory) is higher risk, lower reward. Joyce (WBO mandatory and interim champ) is albeit higher reward but also FAR, FAR higher risk.

Plus the WBA is first in line anyway.

The amount of times people have used the phrase "Shock the world" Makes me think it's the in-crowds signal for who you should bet on or something.

I can't unsee this whenever I watch this guy interviewed.

 

When you get an opportunity like this, you have to be aware that you have to be maximally prepared and leave a good impression in the ring, and Dubois is not ready for such a challenge...

Why not rematch Joyce first

 

Dubois doesn't have an ounce of charisma. He's also a pretty bad liar, he seems like he's trying to convince himself. As delusional as Wilder is, if he told me he thinks he will destroy Tyson Fury in a 4th fight, I would believe that he actually thinks that.

 

Ever since Frank Bruno predicted Dubois to be a future 'unstoppable force', Daniel has nose dived.
Unfortunately Dubois isn't all that good, and neither was Bruno.

Perhaps Dubois should try some theatre work.
