Benavidez vs Plant

If Plant wins I have to imagine a decision BUT Breadman could be a difference maker. Bread is a very inconsistent trainer who can have superb performances followed by complete duds. JRock fight against Hurd was somewhat of a spectacle but then it was followed up by...a major humbling by Rosario.

Was the Dirrell fight Bread's superb performance? Or will the Benavidez fight be? Is this the dud fight? Or will Plant lose to Charlie Zelenoff next?

Benavidez stoppage is the pick. Plant couldn't keep Canelo off him who has less output and is smaller than he so I have doubts he can do so w Benavidez who has more output, longer range, heavier, and - most importantly - hungrier.

Should be a good fight while it lasts

 

Benavidez looked he has no self confidence in yesterday's weigh in.

I think Plant will knock him out.

 

Regarding the weigh in. Did anybody see Benavidez's haircut? Looks like he's got a damn bird nest on his head. Also, what's up with all these lineups and extreme fades? I've never understood that. Why would you push your own hairline back on purpose? Are you trying to look like you're 45?

 

Plant looks calm, composed and confident, Benavidez could lose...

 

I like Benavidez by late stoppage. Plant has always come across as dick munch to me but I acknowledge he can fight. I simply like the combination punching from Benavidez who looks like he needs to move to 175. At somepoint the weight cutting to 168 is going to catch up to him.

 

Benavidez looks TERRIBLE. He needs to move up.

 

You can't be serious bomber, but hey if you are right i'll hand it to you right after in the OFF OFF chance of that every happening.

 

I was really excited for this fight because I thought it was on Showtime

I've had a tenner on Plant at 4/1 to win a decision .Really like Benavidez and the way he fights,but sometimes he is so intent on landing his shots,his defence gets a bit porous,Benavidez disgraced himself at some of those press conferences imo, he and his father showed a real lack of class and respect. Still I'll watch it in the morning,should be a good one!
