I honestly don't believe Plant will be successful (as in have any type of upper hand) for 30 seconds in however long this fight goes. He will probably land, but he will absolutely not deal well with what comes back. Benevidez in a total wipeout. Y'all need to stop reading into these weigh ins and use common sense. I could be wrong of course, but I am basing it on previous fights and not a weigh in just because Benevidez looks like he let Stevie Wonder cut his hair and pick his wardrobe. I'd LOVE to see Benevidez hit the canvass though, as he is becoming intolerable with his antics.
I still got beneavidez in round 7 or 8. But if he can’t get him out of there by that time he might be in trouble. This is after all boxing - a full 12 round fight. i know it’s not body building but, plant looks better at the weigh in, his nutrition is on point. david looks like he cut wrong. Like he crashed dieted. While Plant looks comfortable & accustomed at the weight.
Plant also seems to be winning the mental game. That finger he put on Benavidez's neck at the end of the face-off was brilliant.
i got plant. think benny overtrained and is gonna be reaching and off balance all night. Plus hes had a couple fights cancelled and hasnt fought in awhile.
