Amazing how when people get on a lemming roll they develop amnesia, not to mention extremely biased "analysis". Fury-Usyk not coming off has by some ape logic jumped AJs status by leaps and bounds. He of a stoppage loss to a fighter with an eating disorder and two losses to a former CW - and favored vs. both opponents. Wilder has suffered too as he has never (does Fury count?) fought a semi decent HW? I suppose Ortiz was too old to be semi decent. Same for Arreola. SMH. Wilder's resume isn't sparkling, but he has many semi decent, and some better than that, fighters on his record.
If you can't accept that Fury ducked the Wlad rematch, AJ, and Usyk, then just stop posting, because without Fury stating he ducked them, there is not really any more evidence that can be provided. Therefore, his resume is just an unproven Wilder. End of story.
Similar, except Fury was bitten by a Wild Boar, not a Bat, and instead of superpowers he just became more of a twat.
Also, in the Dark Knight that quotation was originally used by Harvey Dent, who would later become Two Face. When Batman later repeats that line, it changes to one about taking responsibility for not only his own actions, but the consequences of those actions in others. The exact opposite of what Fury does. Basically, Fury is closer to Two Face than Batman.
Because Fury ducked Usyk he’s now a B-level fighter? Fury is a bell-end of epic proportions, but he’s still is way in front of all the heavyweights with a question mark above Usyk. He beat 2 number ones in the division, Klitschko and Wilder, with Klitschko he completely nullified him and took zero damage in the process, since Klitschkos reign no one has managed to do that to him and also took on the hardest punching heavyweight in history and beat him at his own game. The fact that Fury completely changed his style in Wilder 2 shows you the levels to his ability, very rarely do we get to see fighters completely change their style and be as successful as Fury. Just because you don’t like a particular fighter doesn’t make his achievements any less,
When Wilder’s win over Arthur Spizka is being bigged up to bizarrely make Fury’s cv look good you know the lad posting must be a bit simple.
Did you lot see the interview with Josh Taylor saying that its the first time hes hearing that Fury brought him into the training camp?
I won't eargue with you about Wilder/Whyte, and I won't argue with you about Wilder's resume. What i'm saying is he was rated the second best fighter in the world by most if not all credible sources when that fight was made. And he was. This is pretty weird behaviour on the part of the forum. Usyk/Fury is a disaster but the weird attempt to re-write the things that Fury did that were good is bizarre and unnecessary. Matching the best fighter in the world that you can is rare. It is rare thing. It doesn't happen often. When it happens, it should be celebrated and admired, even if the fighter has done something to upset you three years after the event.
Wilder was never number 1! He didn't beat anyone of substance. Please find some magazines from the last 10 years, look at tne rankings, then tell me who Wilder beat. Who cares if a yankee magazine gave him the title? He's a yank!!! Wilder might not be the best in america at that weight!!!
I didn't take that one too seriously if I'm honest. It sounded like a joke at the time, and Josh Taylor took it as such. The issue of Frank (and Fury) pretending that Sugar Hill was there to train him was just gas lighting the public, though.
He has an amazing record IMO never lost beat Klitschko and Wilder combined total of four times away from home Smashed Whyte Beat Chisora to a pulp three times Beat Wallin who is one of the best around and avoided Beat Cunningham as he was coming up unmatched in this era
"Beat Wallin who is one of the best around and avoided". Don't forget the avoided John McDermott. How come Klitschko, Wilder, Usyk and Joshua never took on this head to head beast?
