Was really looking forward to Davis vs Garcia, but I'm very much put off by the $85 PPV I understand Haney vs Loma will only be $59, I'm definitely going to go for this fight instead now. My rule is 4 PPV's a year, I went early with Plant vs Benavides, probably a mistake TBH.
If you want explosive action and edge-of-your-seat tension, Davis-Garcia. If you want a more significant fight historically (for whatever that's worth) with higher skill level, Haney-Lomachenko. I'd go for Haney-Lomachenko personally.
I'm ordering both. The good news is that Taylor-Lopez and Fulton-Inoue are better matchups than both, and those two fights are not PPV.
If I’m only paying for one it’s Haney vs loma.. tank and Ryan are 2 ducks who been running from the best guys around they division. I ain’t got no love for scam artist boxers
Lomachenko is 2 times Olympic and 2 times World gold medalist. It would be nice to see him schooling Haney, who has 0 medals. Garcia vs Davis feels like 2 "social media influencers" fighting in an exhibition match.
What's better value or the better fight? Edging towards Tank Garcia in terms of which I'm more interested to see.
You've just confirmed to me what I long suspected... you know nowt about boxing. Kambosos done Teo in, and Catterall is Josh's father. All of them except Kam looked good in those outings. Josh will only regress because the weight cut is too much. Teo is done.
And no security guards were between those two, when they get face to face and tell each other thrashy words. Davis even touched his fist on Garcia's face. Nobody got worried. Seems suspicious to me.
I'm not sure what you're suggesting here. Fighters are always encouraged to beef at the press conference. That's nothing new. I'm sure they were told beforehand that they could get in eachothers faces and make taunts, just as long as they didn't come to real blows. There's millions of dollars on the line for both of them, they aren't dumb enough to jeopardize that. If you're insinuating that this fight is some fix, then that's just tinfoil hat talk.
Only way I'd watch those things live and take time out of my schedule to do so would be if someone paid me. Loma vs Haney is a huge mismatch. Haney wins by ko. Tank vs Kingry. Soon to be jailbird who isn't interested in the sport any more vs someone who just really isn't that talented. Not very interesting fights.
I could never watch a big fight at a sports bar surrounded by 100 casuals who probably think Fury and Canelo fight in the same division, but that's just me.
