    Belly ducking Usyk

Bowe might have thrown his belt in the bin but Belly literally threw his entire reputation and credibility in the bin in broad daylight after shamelessly ducking a MW half his size

In his own backyard where everything was stacked heavily in his favour

And for a completely unfair 70/30 in his favour, which he later went on to mock team Usyk for accepting because he knew it was a **** take and never expected ''sneaky'' Usyk to accept

Against a much more accomplished champion who not only held 3/4 of the belts at HW to his 1/4, but is the former undisputed CW champion, the current P4P #1, an Olympic, World Amateur, and European gold medalist who was coming off the back of not one but two conclusive victories over the biggest star in British boxing/second biggest in the world who Belly was too scared to face even once, and had fought four of his last five fights on PPV in GB, all of which sold well, against British opponents, three of which on British soil where Usyk is actually popular.

He expected the three-belt unified king Usyk to accept the same deal he signed for prior to AJ I ie. when Usyk held no belts at the weight and AJ was the three-belt unified king, and he hadn't scored a brace of victories over the biggest and most popular star in British boxing in his last two fights, and for a purse three or four times less than he earned for his previous fight

He wouldn't even accept a 60/40 split to the winner in his own backyard where everything was stacked heavily in his favour and Usyk who was already giving away huge physical advantages would have to win via a landslide to try and ensure he came away with a victory and even then they still might rob him and Belly stood a good chance of winning just by making it to the finish line whilst not getting shutout.

Even worse, he laid the groundwork for the duck way back in Jan 2020 when he categorically admitted on camera that he wanted no part of ''foreigner'' Usyk and he still would duck him even if annexed 3/4 of the belts from the biggest star in British boxing AJ.

Funny because he didn't have a problem facing foreigners Tom Schwarz, Wallin, Pianeta, Sefari, Wlad, and Hammer in six of his previous seven fights prior to making that statement. He fought Schwarz and Wallin in the US for goodness sake and no one had a clue who either were over there or anywhere else

I saw a youtube this morning that I cannot find again, that stated Wilder turned down a three fight, $100million deal with DAZN that included a title unification bout with Joshua. Unbelievable if true.

Recency bias means Fury vs Usyk, although there is still time to redeem. I'd hope so, anyway. Bowe vs Lewis is number one.

    Perfect analysis as always.

The only thing that I would add is that apparently Sugar Hill admitted that he was doing no training with fury, indicating that negotiations were a sham from the beginning and Fury never wanted any.

Yeah, don't you remember that? It was big news in 2019. Of course, Joshua losing to Ruiz right after put a bit of a damper on the fallout since it meant the fight wouldn't have happened anyway.

That was a huge duck and should certainly be in the poll.
