You have to wonder what went wrong for aj, the former 3 belt man, the 6'5+ PED herculean, to get beaten all over the ring by jabba the hutt.

It goes against the laws of physics. Something like that just shouldn't be possible and yet millions saw it. Funny stuff

 

I'm far from an Aj fan, but I'm definitely now supporting him vs Fury

• While Joshua was fighting Usyk (arguably P4P #1) Fury was fighting Chisora.
• Jabba the Hutt weighed 268 lbs... now remind me, how much did Chisora weigh in Fury's last fight? (I'll give you a hint, it's +260 pounds) and 38 years old.

I always liked them both but thought Tyson was the better talent by quite a bit. No I am hoping that if they do fight, AJ finds what he needs to win it.

But I do think that the winner of Chisora-Whyte III is the more likely opponent.

Or maybe the loser. Who knows.

 

Joshua's the first "elite SHW" to be clearly defeated by an ex-cruiser, let alone twice and he lost in one of the biggest upsets ever, arguably the most humiliating defeat in combat sports history. So his legacy is shot and it's only likely to decline further.

Usyk may very well be the best cruiser of all time but it's still historically unique that Joshua is the only elite super-heavyweight to be schooled by one (plus in his backyard, as the A-side) and then beaten by him again. So it's inevitable that while Usyk's stock rose, Joshua's fell.

Yes he beat Ruiz in the rematch but he never should have lost to such a limited fighter in the first place. Being dropped four times and jacking it in 7 isn't a good way to lose either. And the rematch didn't do much good for Joshua's reputation or legacy as he was running for dear life for 12 rounds in a big ring against a stubby Mexican who hadn't trained. Douglas didn't train for Holyfield, blew up just over a stone as Ruiz did and Holyfield took him out in 3.

Joshua has been a safety-first fighter ever since 41 year old Wlad almost sparked him in London. And it's got worse since the blob destroyed him. He's not been an entertaining fighter for 6 years now.

People used to think Joshua could go down as the best heavyweight of all time, now they wonder how he'd do against Frank Bruno. His legacy is shot and he knows it, which is why he's said multiple times: "it's about the money at this point".

 

It would be ridiculous to accept 70-30 from AJs side. 60/40 is a bit much too given how big the fight is. Commercially AJ is the bigger star and would bring the Saudi money. I would be looking for 50/50 personally but perhaps concede to 45/55 given Fury has the belt.
