Size don't matter, when you getting hit from different angles with solid power

There is no power in Haney, both mental and physical.

Loma have experience to beat the **** out of Haney and he will do everything for that.

As Loma said, he is motivated same way he was for the first Olympics.

I prefer same day weigh in myself. But those days are long gone, and it's doubtful they're ever coming back.

The rules are what they are, and the term "weight bully" has always struck me as silly, especially since those accused of being one are merely following the rules at play.

I meant it's irrelevant TO WHAT THEY WILL ACTUALLY WEIGH ON FIGHT NIGHT. I'm not shouting, just emphasizing my intent.

What they weigh on fight night is irrelevant, barring rehydration clauses and other such situational stipulations. The relevant weight is the official weigh in, and that's been true for decades.

Not in the ring. He'll weight 147 on fight night, which has been my point the last several posts.

    Jeeesh...

Didn’t know I was supposed to read all your posts first. My apologies sir. I’ll be sure to update my settings like the rules for weigh ins were updated several generations ago. Cutting weight is as much a part of the sport as punching. Fighters only do what they are allowed or face penalties. Lomachenko was already on the other side of the fence regarding this issue vs Rigo. He knows what he’s up against. He will be fine. Like Floyd said, size don’t win fights, skills do. Both guys have attributes that are favorable to them and it will be up to each fighter to impose his will and style on the other.

No problem. I've had several blow backs in this thread. Poor communication skills on my part.

I think this will be a great fight, a classic.

Loma is a small 135 fighter Haney is a massive 135 fighter .. Haney should be fighting at 140lbs at least ..

Interesting thing will be Haney making weight.. he is in serious danger of being weight drained as Loma will look to use angles and fast feet to try and keep Haney guessing .. this fight not a given as Haney likes to stand off and box and not really use his size advantage properly and doesn't carry real KO power ..

If Loma truly looks old overnight, then Haney will not get as much recognition for a win and that's as it should be. Just because some unreasonable types use that excuse doesn't mean that boxers never get old overnight, it actually happens.

Anyone who knows boxing and has been following Loma, will be able to tell what's up by actually WATCHING the fight, which is something casual fanboys do between looking up stats & records.

If I had to guess I would say he probably is about 165+ right now.. and I actually think it's getting to a stage where it will be detrimental to him now to fight at 135.. I think hes too big already & it might play to Lomas advantage this time round, Haney may have overstayed his welcome at the weight .. it happens .. but saying that I don't have the faith in Loma I used to have I think his window has passed and he will just be a high level win for all these younger weight grifting next gens unfortunately.. which is a bit sad as he was majestic in his prime but like many Fighters couldn't get anybody to fight him but now they see the old lion picking up wounds they all want a part.. I think he's lost his Edge and doesn't have the killer instinct anymore and he's on a slow decline as well.. think nostrils edges this as Lomas output isn't the best at the best of times but it will dip further as he'll struggle trying to overcome the reach here
