He had a fight scheduled for April 1st against some guy named Tommy McCarthy with plans to fight Okolie afterwards, but then I heard it got replaced with a fight against Billam-Smith in May. Now it looks like Smith is still fighting that day but with a to be confirmed opponent. Are they still negotiating or did that fall through or what?

I honestly don't think Wilder has a chance in a thousand. You aren't going to knock out Usyk with one punch, and probably never going to hit him clean when your only punch is a fully extended right hand.

The WBA have now officially ordered Oleksandr Usyk to defend his WBA, IBF & WBO heavyweight world titles vs Daniel Dubois next. Parties have 30 days (until May 2nd) to negotiate, then purse bids. Why not Sanchez vs Arreola? That would at least be a somewhat interesting fight.
Agreed, what's the point of Arreola at his age fighting a journeyman, and I know there's no point in Sanchez fighting his opponent when Arreola is there to fight as a stay busy.
