Both the Brazilian legend of WEC & UFC and world jiu-jitsu champion José "Scarface" Aldo and his opponent Jeremy "Lil Heathen" Stephens, a far less accomplished MMA'ist, are making their pro boxing debuts here.

 

Both guys had relatively high "victories by knockout" (versus decision or submission) percentages in their native sport.

 

Oh, this is a rematch of sorts apparently. They fought in the octagon in 2018. Last time Aldo beat Stephens via TKO due to punches a little over four minutes into the 1st round.

I was a huge fan of Aldo during his prime 13-14 years ago but stopped following his career after the pathetic spectacle of Conor McGregor destroying him in thirteen seconds.

This fight is surprisingly competitive.
