    Bellew has to be one of the weirdest guys ever in boxing. He is a former world champion and multimillionaire at Cruiserweight. Essentially means he doesn’t need to act tough at all to warrant respect. He’s the hardest man in the room pretty much 99% of the places he will go where there are average folk.

    So why is this man such a simp? AJ barely acknowledges him, doesn’t even follow him on Twitter or IG. The way he screams ringside like a total lunatic when AJ and Chisora fight and the way he is rimming Benn. It goes beyond being simply a company man for Matchroom. He’s a seriously strange guy.

    Seriously, in what sport does a commentator try and take on the opposition corner in a fight straight after the fight/game has ended?

    Imagine Martin Tyler or someone running onto the field after the final whistle of a game to go and get into a scrap with Unai Emery as an example.

    Bellew should be fired on the spot.

    Well put with that analogy, it’s absolutely mental. When you see Neville and Carragher on Sky they remain pretty respectably impartial when commentating. You don’t hear them shrieking like maniacs when their team scores and they maintain a level of professional composure. Bellew is totally insane. I’d love to hear AJ’s genuine thoughts about him behind closed doors, guaranteed Bellew is the absolute butt of the jokes in close quarters there.

    100% should be fired on the spot.

    In a sport riddled with morons, Bellew sits among the hierarchy of them. I could only bring myself to watch the main event last night and with the volume turned down so as to avoid listening to that absolute mongo of a man. How a man who put on some good fights over the years and won a world championship could devolve into such an unbearable idiot is hard to believe. DAZN in general is unbearable but Bellew epitomises that fact.

    Not much in it really looked like bellew had been gobbling off during the fight. Luckily Bunce was there to keep the peace lmfao

    He reminds me of Curtis from topboy I'd imagine his behaviour behind closed doors to be similar.

    Have to concur here.

    I have always liked Tony. But he is just too much of an emotional mess to be taken seriously. His adoration for AJ is similar to a twelve year old football fans for his fave player (posters on the wall etc). But it comes from the place of a 40 year old bloke which is peculiar. I do think he needs to reign it in a bit, and perhaps step away at some point for a while. Those were his words too.

    It’s bordering on stalker behaviour, it’s weird how overly up AJs backside he is, might sound childish but I genuinely think there’s some deeper feeling on Tony’s side for AJ and yet from AJs side he doesn’t even acknowledge Bellews existence
