Gary Russel Jr is better than Fulton. Lomachenko would destroy Fulton even if they were the same size

Take it down a notch, chief. I’ve defended the importance of an fights on here for ages.

Clearly based on the wins by GRJ just before and several afterward. It's a damned good win for Loma, and to try to argue otherwise by denigrating it, is irrational, insincere and inaccurate. Russell is clearly better on every level than Fulton.

I think an inexperienced GRJ a pretty crappy best win for a supposed boxing superstar. Fulton would only be a better win due the weight jump and because he's peaking. Inoue still wouldn't be anywhere near Canelo's win column.

24-0 and a 5 year pro, who goes on immediately in the wake of his first loss, to put together a string of impressive wins over several solid opponents, isn't crappy in the least. You're being intellectually dishonest and you know it.

Name a single guy he beat before the Lomachenko fight without boxrec. It’s notable that Loma was fighting scrubs like Jason Sosa and Marriaga when Russel was in his pomp and looking for a rematch.

This is supposed to be both Inoues and Fultons biggest test do date and yet people are still trying to find ways to downplay the other? So basically Inoue won’t be getting much credit for beating Fulton because he’s simply “not that good”. So what does that say about Inoue if he were to lose to Fulton if he’s just isn’t that good?

Donaire was 36 in the first Inoue fight, younger than the Rigo who fought Loma.

I favor Inoue in this fight but to say Fulton isn't that good just seems to be a bit of a stretch. I won't be surprised if Inoue dispatches Fulton but I'm not going to pretend that Fulton is some scrub that's supposed to be easily brushed off. This is boxing and Fulton is a live underdog. We'll see if Inoue shows that he's a level above or not.

    There are 3 possible outcomes

    1. Fulton fights back and gets knocked out

    2. Fulton goes into survival mode and loses on points

    3. Fulton goes into survival mode and gets knocked out anyways

    3 other possible outcomes

    1. Fulton fights toe to toe, shows his toughness, lasts the distance, and guts out a close decision win.

    2. Fulton uses a smart game plan and outboxes Inoue to a clear decision win.

    3. Fulton takes the fight to Inoue and manages to hurt Inoue enough to be able to force a stoppage win.

Guess we'll just have to see. Again, this is boxing. Anything can happen and I don't think this will be an easy fight for both of them. I won't be shocked if Inoue does manage to make it look easy though.
