You think John Ruiz would be a world champion in this era? You think John Ruiz, Chris Byrd, Lamon Brewster, Hasim Rahman and Kirk Johnson are a better group of heavyweights than Fury, Usyk, Joshua, Wilder, Ruiz and Joyce?
Good grief....Neither Fury nor Usyk has really done that much at HW still. I'm not saying Vitali has a great resume, but if you are being honest, that goes for Fury and Usyk as well.
Furys resume is better than Vitalis and it's not even close Wlad 2 Wilder Wins (Arguably 3) Dillian Whyte What are Vitalis top 5 Wins? His resume is weak Vitali never beat anyone as good as Anthony Joshua. Usyk beat Joshua twice. I understand the longevity argument for Vitali over Usyk but then you'd have to say that Wilders resume is better than Usyks resume at heavyweight too
NONE of those HW's in todays era have done a whole lot. They have what, a couple good wins at most?? Brewster beat a Prime Wlad. Better than anything those guys have done. Rahman beat a prime Lewis...same thing. Some of y'all just jump the gone with praising today's HW, even though they have relatively weak resumes themselves.
It's more the strength of his second tier wins that pushes him over. Usyk's best win is...AJ? Wilder's best win is....Chisora?? AJ's best win is....old Wlad?? Fury's best win is...Wilder?? HOF and ATG resumes there!
Ok so? Joshua, Fury, Usyk, Joyce, Wilder are all better than Rahman and Brewster. This era is a lot better. Especially when you consider that Vitalis reign (if you want to call it that) was after Lennox Lewis retired.
Fury is a better talent than Vitali Klitschko and has a better resume and would beat him head to head
All you can say is, "XXXX is better...." and based on what?? Them beating other low level HWs in a shitty era??
