Some major boxing politics BS for Neekz regardign the Scorney fight not that it s Scotney's fault.

So they were suppose to fight on may 20th in Dublin on the Taylor-Cameron undercard, neutral territory big card all good.

Now apparently it will be rescheduled on the challenger',Scotney's home turf at a later date but not due to Scotney requesting this but because of Chantelle Cameron, who doesnt want Scotney on her undercard because of her being trained by Shane McGuigan-whom she had a falling out.
Fight seems to have been postponed a few weeks seems like it according to Lou DiBella.
    Sucks.

Could take place the week after on May 27 in Manchester hopefully. I'd be surprised if it landed in Abu Dhabi on June 3 on the Conor Benn undercard but that is also a possibility.

Scotney is from London so apparently they think she sells tickets only there and want it there.

    Might be a long postponement.

Mate Scotney is the A side even if Neekz has the belt.
    Matchroom dictates.

The 2026 Commonwealth Games boxing tournament is in Ballarat in March.

They pull out big gold nuggets down that way & I reckon there will be a few dug up during that tournament.

    Best "Kiwi Down!" moments (recent):
Gold - Junior Fa v Lucas Browne - It's going down, I'm yelling timber!
Silver - Bowyn Morgan v Tim Tszyu - Who says the Kiwi is a flightless bird?
Bronze - Sonny Bill Williams v Mark Hunt - The flush button was pressed.

    Best Kiwi excuses for defeats:
Gold - "The knockout was from a head-clash like the one that occurred in the Joseph Parker v Dillian Whyte fight" - A Kiwi fan in 2023 on Felix Savon stopping David Tua in 17 seconds at the World Amateur Championships in Sydney in 1991. That excuse had been marinating for 32 years.
Silver - "He hit him in the back of the head" - Kiwi fans on the second Junior Fa v Lucas Browne knockdown after the first one caused Junior to convulse on the canvas but the ref somehow let it continue until a second occurred.
Bronze - "It was stopped too early" - Kiwi fans after Hemi Ahio began spitting out his mouthpiece midway through round 2 from exhaustion against Django Opelu & it was waved off in the 4th.

    Best Kiwi-Australian boxers (current):
Gold - Cherneka Johnson - P4P #1 best looking boxer on the planet. Also IBF Super Bantamweight champ.
Silver - David Nyika - I've upgraded him from bronze at the Olympics.
Bronze - Floyd Masson - Do you come from a land Down Under? IBO Cruiserweight champ.
Bronze - Django Opelu - Pretty sure he began as a Kiwi also.

    Best Kiwi-Australian boxer (all-time):
Jimmy Thunder (RIP) - Commonwealth games gold medalist in the H/W division in 1986. Lennox Lewis won gold @ Super Heavy.

    Happy Easter chaps.

What do you think about this Mendoza kid who just chopped down the Beanstalk?

Would he be a viable option for Tszyu in June?

I have seen him a couple of times. I knew this would happen eventually to Fundora but didn't think it would be Brian.

I remember he didn't look great against LeManna, who is very average. Got rocked early but my recollection of the fight he took over late and outpointed him without to much controversy. But reviewing our brains trust in the rbr, the opinion was split on the winner.

He is risky because he has truly heavy hands but he tends to go a bit quiet and gets outboxed because he is waiting for the big kibosh.

For lack of a better comparison in a tactical sense maybe a little like an exclusively orthodox Liam Wilson or George Kambosos Jr at times.

Seems reasonable durable and knows how to spoil when he is under the pump.

He doesn't quite have a Danny Santiago profile but his stocks in the States would have lifted dramatically after this win.
