I mention Chisora as a jibe at Fury, and Furys play safe for maximum cash routine.

As far as I understood Wilder is fighting Ruiz, Joyce is fighting soon, and well as for Fury......He's apparently in training, likely for a WWF 'contest'.

We have Usyk, Fury, Wilder, Joyce and AJ. All who have fought 1 of the rest. Llenty of fun matchups left and somehow mobody is fighting each other.
All easy match ups up next. Boring sport in that way.

Cool, you're certainly right about Fury's maximum cash least threat route, I've been saying for a while that he's dying for a big fight in Arabia and I blame that greed on the undisputed fight not materialising.

I do understand Usyks position though too. Having faced AJ twice, it's reasonable for him to take a mandatory now, and it just so happens it too is a path of lesser resistance (Dubois, that is) meaning an Arabian fight down the line is more likely for Usyk also. And although its not what I like, Its a path that I can certinly accept more than what appears to be Fury's at this moment in time.

Still, Dubois is a cake walk for Usyk and I dont see it being a very entertaining fight either, It will be far too easy. See Kevin Lerena for example.

Dubois will stop Usyk, body work and he'll be out of there, we saw AJ trouble Usyk to the body

Here's the catch, AJ is ten times the boxer than Dubois is, and a far heavier puncher. And really.... just how hurt to the body was Usyk, your eyes deceived you. You're talking out of your ass again.

AJ was given the wrong tactics by his trainers, to try and box Usyk, otherwise he could've stopped him if he fought like the old AJ. Dubios will go for the kill, let's see if Usyk can handle it

Hopefully Dubois needs more time to recover from his ‘dubious’ knee surgery and Usyk goes to SA and fights Wilder

And for that matter, Fitz never got within sniffing distance (I think not even 30lbs) of 200, even if some of his opponents did.

The answer lies within your question. Talking about the WBA... having baffling and opaque criteria for undeserved world rankings is practically a trademark of theirs.

I am picking usyk by early stoppage I know people will point out that Dubois went deep into the fight versus Joyce but I think usyks speed and punch accuracy will overwhelm him early in a way that Joyce couldn't

Usyk had trouble stopping cruisers and cannot stop heavies.

He has no power and throws mostly straights as to not compromise his positioning.

Most of his stoppages are attritional like Fury.

He'll box Dubious up and fight extremely cautious as to not get banana peeled.

Dubois was lucky to get out of round one of his last fight.

The judges had Dubois winning at time of the stoppage vs Joyce, I had him just behind but he had Joyce seriously weary of his power at times. He's most likely improved since then but everybody is going on about Dubois like he's a bum.
