So you trying to say what I'm saying about Shakur isn't true? Who you picking at 135 to beat him?

That stoppage was way premature in my opinion, but oh well. It was headed that way and Stevenson was never in any danger, so I guess it isn't that big a deal.

Seriously though what about that punch made the ref stop it? Was it because of how he stepped after being hit? Cause it looked to me like he was just moving, not like a stumble or anything.

Loma and Tank. Tank sends him to the shadow realm

This was his first fight at 135 ffs. The guy was no bum he's beaten good fighters and Shakur made him look like an amateur.

Yup that is right up there with the worst stoppages I've seen in 40 years of following this sport.

Reminds me of Joey Curtis's quicky call in the first round of Dokes-Weaver I. That is the gold standard of bull**** stoppages!

Probably because Yoshino was already down twice and taking too many clean shots to the head.

Yeah it was a **** stoppage and most likely a foregone conclusion but at least let the fighter go out on his shield.

Did i just see J Prince posing with Shakur’s team for a photo? If so, I dont think Shakur will be around long enough to enjoy the fruits of his labour lol. J Prince must have a financial interest in the situation, which isn’t good news

That's how good he is most fighters wouldn't fight a guy like that for their first fight at a new weight. Shakur wanted all the smoke and made a statement

I agree 100%. He knew he wasn't going to win unless he landed that lucky punch. He knew that when he signed the contrast. He was going to be outclass. Let the guy lose from being hurt instead of being stopped cause he just couldn't land due to the speed and skill difference.

He is getting into promoting fights I've heard.

Going to call his company Punch-A-Lot.
