Agreed. Just for the moment I don't think any of the 3 would beat Fury. AJ possibly a different story. All 3 have a fair chance. But as you say at least they're prepared to fight.
    1. Dubois has more time than most. Might be sensible for him to build his career before taking really hard fights.
    2. Joe is fighting a good opponent at the weekend when he could either sit back and not fight or take an easy one to keep active. Good on him.
    3. Bakole is possibly in the same position as Joyce. Beat some good opponents. Deserves a shot. Billy nelson says hell fight anybody and I think I believe him.

I knew the 3 fights a year talk was ****, but that's what he needed. Now it will be 9 months between fights, as expected.

Sounds like they are drawing out AJ's next few fights in the hope that Fury and Wilder retire within a couple of years, or Fury has another meltdown

Good theory. I think Fury WILL retire. Before AJ at least. Wilder maybe not, but AJ wont fight him without a title involved. By that time I think there'll be some new blood around in all likelihood.

Reading on twitter judges saying AJ needs more time to develop and learn, amazing how people re-hash this nonsense.

He's an Olympic World Champion, he's a Double heavyweight World Champion and nearing 30 fights.

It doesn't matter where his camp is etc, unless he sorts his head out he's done. He was frightened about Franklins power, and Franklin couldn't even stop Jerry Forrest. If he gets in with any sort of puncher, his ass will full out.

All AJ is doing is wasting time and growing old which in boxing is similar to one pointing a gun at their own head.

If this isn’t due to some injury that requires surgery, he’s literally waiting to cash out on his career.

Maybe Derrick James isn’t available because we’re getting Spence Crawford.

    That may be right.
Either that or they think by then the belts will have changed hands due to not fighting mandatories ect.
Then they can try and fight for a belt against a crap opponent

Everything AJ does whether it'd be fighting, talking, answering questions, announcing fights, it's just comes off as weird. He's such an oddball honestly.
