Well done Zhang, he had to get his shots home in the early rounds and did exactly that, causing early damage which eventually brought the fight to an end

Joyce really didn’t box intelligently against a big puncher who was always going to throw heavy punches from the off, he was too straight on and too easy to hit

 

That was a doctor stoppage I think. Also they eye was getting worse. Wouldn't have lasted another few rounds and he would've taken unnecessary punishment , well more unnecessary punishment than he usually takes

 

Joyce is awful. No skills no nothing. Zhang just destroyed his face! Look at the state of his face!

Yeah, I feel for Joyce, but ecstatic Zhang won. I haven't been this happy in boxing since I heard "115-112" and didn't realize it was for Hrgovic

 

Fun fight. Ending was not very satisfying, but an understandable stoppage.
