Hard to take Clarke seriously when he looks like a giant version of Karl Pilkington. It's not his fault but with no sound on all I see is Karl Pilkington.
Wasn't sure whether to post this here or in the "Opinions of DAZN" thread. Clarke on ID Boxing says the fight should be on Sky if it happens, "it'd be wasted on DAZN". He's probably just done Shalom's legs in the negotiations or purse bids now. Roughly 6:50 onwards: This content is protected
To be fair the fight would be a lot bigger on Sky since they'd push it a lot more especially with their News channels. Imagine if Wardley stops one of the golden boys of Sky on their own platform. His profile would go through the roof. However, I do think Clarke wins this, despite Wardley fighting much better opposition in the professional game.
Not really a fan of his, in terms of i don't particularly find him enjoyable to watch....but he is speaking sense. He does need a step up next whoever he fights.
This is a good fight hope it goes ahead. I like Wardleys story, no amateur pedigree and has had to learn his trade sparring in the gym. He’s had a good few domestic fights and it impressed me that when he did take a few heavy shots from Gorman, it lit a fire under his arse and he came back firing then got him out of there. Big Frazer has the amateur pedigree but as someone said, does he have the “it” factor? He has to be moved a bit quicker given he’s turned over fairly late and you do have to wonder if he should be having another solid 8 round test in the pro game before stepping up as it is a big jump… but then again, he has mixed it with the very best when donning the amateur vest and has little time to waste.
It's actually quite ridiculous hearing Clarke talking about how this fight deserves to be be on sky sports. It's a British title fight and all Clarke should be concerned with is the money he will recieved. DAZN or Sky sports it really doesn't matter.
This content is protected Matchroom may bid big for this then so it takes place at Portman Road. It could also cause Sky / Boxxer to bid a lot higher than they were originally intending to do so.

Massive acid test for both fighters. I'm leaning towards Clarke but Wardley has more experience. Will be a close fight that could go either way.
